First of all, this set looks much better (and larger) in person than in the pictures. It comes in a large box with gift bag, and the inside securely seats the pieces in styrofoam that had oddly been topped with velveteen that looks very nice. The pieces are thick and sturdy, so no risk of breakage with casual use. The infuser chamber has a nice fine mesh. The novelty turning mechanism works well, although after closing the spout there tends to be a bit of liquid in the lower runoff area so it keeps dripping for a while (and makes a mess if you remove the pitcher to pour into the cups during that time). It's fun and it works well. After one day of use (about three sessions), the ceramic disk on the bottom of the infusion chamber fell off. The glue holding it was brittle and the suction with the lower chamber's ceramic disk was stronger than the glue. It wasn't hard to re-glue it back on (although getting the right alignment of the drainage holes was tricky), but it was a little disappointing to have this flaw one day 1. Still, overall I'm pleased with the set.

This tea set blew away my expectations, the pots and cups are very well painted and the handles are very sturdy. Have had it for multiple months now and everything looks as if it still came out of the box. It brews about one full cup of tea at a time, so definitely good for single use only all though you could probably get away with a sampling for two. The best deal for loose leaf tea brewing on Amazon in my opinion.

I had purchased this set to replace a set we had purchased several years ago that got broken. It was the perfect replacement set, beautiful design and all very functional to be used in a traditional tea setting where you steep the tea leaves and then strain through to another serving pot to pour out in to individual tea cups. Excellent for sipping.

This tea set is more or less a severe waist of money. Its the size of a child's tea set. The color is beautiful. But, you might get a full glass serving of tea out of the pot PER USE. Luckily, I had someone I could gift this to. But, it was a waist of money.

This is a first impressions review. The feels amazing. It comes inside of a gift box which is in turn inside of a gift bag. Definitely take this out of the amazon packaging if you intend to gift this. The Set itself seems like it is of very good quality. The items themselves seem to be made with a durable ceramic. It feels almost like stone. The handles on the Fairness cup and teapot are removeable. The set has 6 teacups. They are very tiny, perfect for Gong Fu brewing. The Brewing vessel holds 180ml water (about 6oz.). I recommend 6g of tea with short, hot steeps (15s +5s per additional steep). The teacups hold 60ml if you fill all the way to the brim. Do not fill until the brim. The teapot is 180ml and you have 6 teacups. There is a very obvious intention to serve 30ml per cup. Take time to enjoy your tea with small servings; it will be worth it.
