I was fully in a pool with this on and it did not get any water on my phone what so ever. I can say that this protector definitely works!! If you’re considering, just buy it! The media could not be loaded. I bought this iPhone case to take on a cruise where we were doing a snorkeling expedition. I was too afraid to take it deep under the water, but we did use it on the boat and at the beach to keep our phone safe and dry. The pouch is large enough that you can also stick in some credit cards and some cash. It seems to be nicely made, and I wish I could attest to whether it’s actually waterproof or not, but I was too chicken. Protection from water was pretty solid. The problem is that once you get under water, the screen stops reacting to efforts to select a proper regime - photo or video - and does not react to the push of the shutter button. The trick is to set the camera to slow motion and start while still over the surface. It doesn't guarantee that recording won't stop by itself, but can work better, then trying to push side button under water. ... show more
