  • Best travel stroller for the price
Color: Space Black Style: AER+ CLASSIC LOOKS
Amazing stroller. We just used this stroller on a trip to Alaska. It included airplane travel and a cruise. The stroller is so easy to fold up and store. It’s lightweight and compact and easy to carry. It’s very comfortable and my baby fell asleep in it numerous times. The adjustable back rest and shade are great. I also bought the foot rest extender (definitely worth it). This stroller is definitely worth the price tag. ... show more

  • Best foldable carry on stroller
I would love to recommend Joolz to every traveling parent! We bought both yoyo and joolz and returned yoyo. Joolz aer is a combination of light weight, stable, smooth, portable and high quality. We used it for several international flights and carry on was never an issue. The folding and unfolding process is so smooth and that’s the main reason we chose Joolz over yoyo. The only complaint I have is the space under seat is pretty limited for baby bag and because it is light weight you cannot put any heavy things on the handle bar otherwise it will flip. But beside that, everything works perfect and we are really satisfied. This color looks great too! ... show more

  • Pleasantly Surprised and Ready for Italy!
Color: Sandy Taupe Style: AER+ CLASSIC LOOKS
The media could not be loaded. We are planning a trip to Italy where it’s known you’re on and off trains and public transport often. We will also definitely have connecting flights to get there. My old/current travel stroller (details at the end if interested) would make our lives not as enjoyable for this trip to come, so I decided to go back to researching travel strollers after a year with the Harppa I have been using for air travel. I’ve heard on and on about the YoYo, but also saw this stroller mentioned on some travel blogs. After a deep dive on travel blogs, tons of reviews and videos, I decided to get the YoYo and the Joolz to try in person. Shockingly, I HATED the YoYo. Maybe the one I got was defective, but the one handed close was a 12 minute struggle to get closed with two hands and on my knees. You have to bend down and reach under the seat to collapse it and it was not easy. Plus it came unassembled. The instructions were pictures only, hard to understand, and the seat cushioning along with the overall aesthetic did not compare to the Joolz. I am already in LOVE with the Joolz. When I did travel roller research a year ago before settling with the Harppa, I had tested 7 or 8 different lower priced travel strollers (~$100-$200 range). I have not encountered a seat cushion so dense and comfortable. I want to sit in it! I also much prefer this zip feature over the pull straps for the recline, that’s just my preference though. The sun cover extends an amazing length so I am hopeful for on-the-town naps. The thing I like the most is I can actually close it with one hand and the elastic shoulder strap is genius. I use a Tushbaby when I travel with my son so he is on my hip almost the entire time until we are on the plane. With the old stroller, I would have to put him down and try to keep him from crawling away (airport floors surely aren’t the most sanitary either) while I tried to get it in a bag to gate check it. With this Joolz, I won’t have to put him down nor will I need to gate check it so it will be a big plus and convenience going forward. An antsy toddler after a flight and waiting for a gate checked bag/stroller… will be nice to avoid it! It does come with a bag that I will bring just incase we get on a smaller plane that will require it to be gate checked. Every parent traveler will have their own priorities so that’s why there are different stroller variations to appease the different needs. The things that were most important to me were to fit in the plane overhead, ease to carry (while holding a toddler & diaper bag simultaneously) and the comfort for on-the-go naps. This stroller surpassed the YoYo and the other 8 lower price point options I formerly tested by far. I only wish that for the price point, it came with a rain cover and a foot rest. Regarding my old travel stroller, I did extensive research on travel strollers a year ago, but only needed something for quick direct flights for work trips that didn’t consist of much long hours of strolling or compact needs. I ended up getting a cheaper Harppa stroller that still works great and was very functional for my then needs. The downfalls is it isn’t small enough for a plane overhead bin so I have to gate check it and put it in a gate check bag because the side clasp to keep it closed could easily come off and open it. I could just picture the luggage guys trying to figure out how to close it once it accidentally opened it and I didn’t want to chance it. My husband couldn’t figure out how to close it at first and tried to put it in the truck fully open! Another plus of the Joolz is that like how you use the double handle buttons to close it, you do the same to open it. No wide clasps to accidently come off and it open. I usually travel solo with my toddler to my work destination, then we have someone there to watch him while I go to my meetings each day. Well, after an 8 day trip to the northeast, 4 plane rides and driving to 5 different states, the Harappa stroller was less convenient. Not for the car or our daily movements once on the ground, but packing it in the bag and out for connecting flights wasn’t ideal. I would be out of breath and very wore out trying to get it in the bag while keeping by son on my hip or trying to keep him wrangled close by. I made it happen, it just wasn’t fun. The biggest issue now is that my son is so tall (even at 14 months). If I laid the backrest flat he was too tall, his head was squished and to the side. The flat lay is a positive feature that it would go almost 100% flat for naps, but not helpful if you can’t utilize it. So the napping feature that was a positive wasn’t even utilized. ... show more

  • Buy It!
Color: Sandy Taupe Style: AER+ CLASSIC LOOKS
Outstanding product. Refined design. Fully featured. Closes easily. Very small footprint when closed. Light weight compared to other. As this is an item that will be used extensively during infancy and toddler stages, it is ESSENTIAL to find something that is easy to use, easy to transport, easy to carry. Easy. Easy. Easy. The sun shield can be expanded to completely cover the child. Think wind, rain... It has a recline feature that "zips open." There are no shortcuts of the design or materials. Very happy with this product. Worth. Every. Penny... ... show more

  • It's not perfect
This review is for the Joolz Aer+ The cons first: The buckle is time consuming. For the amount of money, they should've a better system. So keep that in mind, cause for me, that is the major flaw of this stroller. You need to buckle 4 buckles individually (2 shoulders, 2 waist) and when you sit your kid you need to search for them. Also, noticed my 18 months old baby sits kinda of squished in the upright normal position (see pic). So expect that your baby's back is not going to be vertical. To recline the back of the stroller is another nuance. When I saw the zipper design instead of the hanging straps, I thought it looks more stylish, till I tried it. You need 2 hands and go on your knees sometimes to pull it back into place. I really miss the convenience of the straps at this point. Pros: The folding!! So easy and smooth. The canopy!! Omg big plus, the most canopy sun coverage I have seen on a compact stroller. There's a review here rating negative the canopy, it's definitely not this stroller. The canopy covers the entire baby's torso. The basket! My diaper bag fits and you can put more stuff if you use the basket opening behind the baby's feet. The seating clearance. The highest seating clearance on the market for this travel stroller category. For this kind of investment, this is a big plus, since it means that if your kid is on the tall side, will last longer. I got this stroller on sale for $385 here on Amazon, lowest price I have seen it. I bought on the Joolz website the bumper bar, cup holder and the rechargeable light that goes underneath the stroller to light up the path at night. Besides the cup holder sticking out of the stroller, I'm happy with all of them. I have the BoB stroller organizer and I use it on this stroller without no issue, fits perfectly. And the stroller folds with it perfectly. Hope this review helps. I did months of research. And found the sad news that with all the technology in the world, no company yet has built the "perfect" stroller. They can just ask Mom's right? 11-2023 Update (20 months old toddler) The stroller was able to fit in the TSA buckets were you put your stuff, that was a surprise for me. I flew with Frontier and was able to put the stroller in the overhead compartment. On the first segment of the flight, I was told by the gate staff that I needed to gate check the stroller, when I went inside the airplane, I asked the flight attendant if I could bring the stroller with me and she told me that if the stroller is a travel stroller and I knew it would fit in the overhead compartment, that it was ok to take my stroller in. The Joolz Aer+ not only fit in the overhead compartment, I was able to open the stroller and drive it in the airplane aisle. ***Make sure to lock the wheels before*** cause the stroller went all over due the bumps in the airplane floor. I'm saving you that mistake that I did. I was able to get in the airport train also without any problem. Also did a cruise and worked smoothly through the narrow hallways, it fit on the room closet, so it wasn't on the way and it was light enough to carry it on the stairs too when the wait for the elevators was long. ... show more
