I really wanted to love this product because I've used Bobbi Brown items for years. But this one is a total miss. I read the reviews (positive and not so positive) prior to purchasing. The negative reviews were accurate. There is a definite chemical smell to the product that lasts for hours after application, and it is also gritty. As if tiny lumps of the foundation hadn't been mixed thoroughly. This product is also very greasy and doesn't sink into the skin. On the positive side...the online quiz matched my color perfectly, and the foundation is definitely buildable. If Jones Road reformulated the product to make the foundation smoother, less greasy, and with a better scent to it I would definitely repurchase this product.

I rarely ever bother to write a review, but because of the bad comments I feel compelled to give my two cents. I have 65 year old dry skin and have everything from Chanel, Dior and Yves St. Laurent to L'oreal and Maybelline in my drawer...I swear I must have fifteen different foundations, but I was intrigued by this so I thought I'd try it. The pros: it goes on very easily with fingers, brush or sponge and really melts into the skin. The color is perfect (light), no noticeable smell and despite what some say, is NOT oily; or any "oiler" than other non matte foundations. It left my skin with a pretty glow and really stayed all day without pilling. The cons: This is a very sheer foundation; it may look thick and full coverage but it's not, AND (at least in my case) it doesn't layer well, and I will remember to add a little extra when I use it next. That's the reason it received four stars, but perhaps I just need to play with it more. Overall though, it's exactly what I wanted in a sheer to medium coverage foundation, and it's (currently) my favorite!

As an over 50 woman running my own business, I don’t have time for a makeup routine. I just want to look fresh, clean, and put together. This foundation goes on smooth, hydrates the heck out of my skin, and looks great all day. I use either my fingers, sponge, or large brush. The blush is also perfection. Foundation lasts about six weeks, conservatively. Blush last forever.

I have some foundations, tinted, moisturizers, etc., and they tend to stick in fine wrinkles and pores and make me look older. This is the complete opposite. It gives you a useful glow it’s moisturizing and I never write your views, but this one definitely deserves it.

Was looking forward to this the Jones Road makeup (affiliated with the former Bobbi Brown line). I was very disappointed, I expected this makeup to be creamy and glide nicely on the skin. It was somewhat thick and gritty. It dragged on the skin, was not very spreadable at all - did not offer much coverage unless layers of this stuff are put on. Did not return it because I tried it, another Amazon Waste of money would not buy this stuff again. Someone else might love it, not for me.

I was very sceptical but have to admit that it really does deliver what it promises. Looks very natural, easy to apply and moisturizing. No complaints at all. Now I order all the kits from Jones road.

I wanted to love this product so much, since Bobby Brown was behind it. Also, it was advertised as a phenomenal, moisture-rich foundation, designed for middle-aged to mature skin. I was all in! Unfortunately, when I tried it, I quickly discovered that the coverage is minimal, the moisture-factor is OK, and the cakey-ness is high. The worst of it all is that their foundation came in, what seems a coagulated state, as a result is has these tiny pebbles. I suspect that this a result of the oils (which are in it) solidifying. Not pretty on any skin, especially not a mature one! Sadly, I cannot return this product and have to add it to the landfill...which for me is yet another major disappointment.
