Most running sneaker brands are making garbage these days. Outsoles with minimal or no rubber, uppers made from 100% fabric with some painted areas. This ensures that the shoes are not durable and have little support. These Saucony shoes are one of the few sneakers I could find that still had an upper with pleather for support and durability. The rubber on the outsole gives you great grip for trail running. It’s overall a good sneaker with moderate cushioning. Only con I found is that the heel is a little weak, so I use a shoehorn. I’ve been a lifelong ASICS guy. They do not make decent sneakers anymore. Thanks Saucony for continuing to make decent shoes while all your greedy competitors have crapped out. ... show more

I ordered this for a Spartan Race. Got the shoes the day before the race. Just took them for a stroll around the block the day before. They were PERFECT for the race. They didn’t get super heavy after going through the water obstacles. It had amazing grip throughout the race. Comfortable and didn’t get any blisters. I have been a fan of Saucony running shoes for about 40 years. They are comforatable and have a good combination of cushioning and stablility. Some years ago I discovered that the "Trail" shoes have more durable uppers and have been pleased with several pairs.

Bought these for hiking/running trails. They are my second pair. They fit well, and have an adequate grip on the terrain. If you are doing exclusively tarmac roads, the treads will wear down quick as in any other trail shoes. If I'm doing solely offroad trails, then I run in my Saucony Peregrine trail shoes. If mix (offroad and tarmac), I use the TR15. Good shoes, good quality. Not the best that Saucony offers for exclusive trail running, but a good budget price. ... show more
