Neat design but the striker's don't work. I tried several types of wooden matches even. Ridges are not sharp enough to create friction to light match - Bummer Also, the clay is unfired so the texture dusty and dry. Pass on this!

Pretty and functional. Sometimes I have to strike the matches a few times to get them to ignite, but it's not unreasonable. Will not work with standard matches... you need to purchase "strike anywhere" matches. I knew that going in, so I ordered the matches at the same time I ordered the match strike.
