Iโ€™ve put them through the wringer the last few months with dry foods, sloppy wet foods, combinations thereof, you name it. I quickly forgot I wasnโ€™t using the significantly pricier name-brand plates โ€ฆ COMPLETELY. Wow. Very sturdy. Thicker than the Dixie Ultra. Are they pretty? Nope. But they are reliable and functional and for the amount I paid they are worth it. Plus, they are 10โ€. Canโ€™t have any smaller than that (come on y'all, I know you went there! Geez). Last night we had spaghettiโ€ฆ..zero sauce came through, no soggy bottom (the plate people! Get your minds out of the gutter!) and they held up till we were done and they were tossed away! Just buy them, take it from me (or not, whatever). ... show more

I got these because I needed some quick. Usually get the Chinet dinner plates. These are far superior to those. Good size, and strong enough to handle a good amount of food, plus the liquids don't leak through as much. Seldom need to use two. I have a new paper plate!
