They had become much less sturdy, appeared to be made of different material, were no longer leak-proof and the price had gone way up. I tried these Comfy Package paper plates on a whim and I'm so glad I did! They're super strong and leak-proof, and they're less expensive than the paper plates I used for years. I'm a chinet user but was looking for a less expensive option, they are sturdy, no leaking through, so you don't have to "double up" I would buy again but next time I'll buy the larger size. This size is a lunch plate, between an appetizer and dinner plate
