Plates hold up very well even when using a knife. They are also able to hold a piece of pizza without grease seeping through as an uncoated plate would. As far as paper plates go they seem to be the same quality as the store brand of the equivalent but it is very convenient to get them in large quantity on auto delivery so that we don't have to use our regular dishes all the time. Much easier to grab a paper plate and toss it!

These are very durable and not flimsy. I'd been used to using cheaper thin paper plates where I often had to double them up and then there would be the problem of things sliding off the plate and foods leaking through. I caught these on sale once and was very pleased, so they have been purchased twice and will be again. They hold up well in the microwave and with various types of food and you don't have to worry about your food leaking through.

Product is much more flimsy, we are now using 2/plates for lighter items. I have been ordering from Amazon specifically for these Dixie plates due to their quality. No longer worth the $$. There have been many times when the plates just bend, rip & tear. They’re close to paper thin. The name states Dixie, I’m not convinced. Definitely not worth the extra effort to have to place a sturdier plate underneath, that’s exactly why I purchase Dixie & don’t get the “no name” brand. Even the appearance has changed. Unless the issue is resolved I will not be purchasing this item again.

The Dixie 10" plates are a good dinner size. They are extremely strong and don't cave in like most other plates. The plastic coating is stands up to the oil and juices of your food. The quantity is worth every penny you pay. In store, you only get a limited amount for over $ 12 and that's no bargain.

While I really enjoy the Dixie Ultra Paper Plates Limited Edition, there are a few areas where I think improvements could be made.
