This was an affordable and versatile rack. I needed one with shelves. It only took about 40 min or so to assemble. It is relatively sturdy when put together, but definitely the typical cheaper aluminum material. There was a small amount of rusting when I opened, but not enough to ruin the products integrity. I was really looking forward to getting this and splurged for a more expensive clothing rack of the ones I looked at. I don't tend to write reviews but I wanted to put it out there for other buyers, this thing is nice once it's put together but I had like 2 breakdowns trying to do it. the way some of the parts are supposed to come together don't always line up and it was really hard to get some of the screws on and tighten them. it's not as heavy/sturdy as I would've thought from photos but I think it'll serve its purpose. you definitely need 2 people to put this together if you don't want to get really frustrated with it. ... show more

This item is useful and should last for many years. Putting together was a challenge no written instructions and many similar pieces that are not interchangeable led to frustration. Once assembled I am pleased with the lightweight yet solid rack.

Poor welding job made it difficult/ impossible to put it together. We had to drill additional holes. It's not sturdy and tips over easily. The double rods are too close to have two rows of clothing. I bought this for extra storage in my dorm and it held up for about 3 months. The max weight suggestion is 20kg/44lbs and I had maybe 20lbs max on it. Since the middle of the rack doesn’t have any support from the floor, the rods bent severely at the base and even at the top most rod. The tubes are pretty thin and hollow so I don’t recommend this for coats or denim storage. You can also STRUM the shoe rack bases they’re so thin… ... show more

This is a fairly sturdy shelf. I would be careful not to overload it, but it will hold quite a bit of clothing. Very easy to put together. Looks nice assembled.
