I just received this on Thursday, July the 18th, so I'm not really sure of how it's performing thus far. I took 2 capfuls yesterday and today is Friday as I'm writing this review July 19th and I took 2 capfuls this morning so between Thursday and today Friday I don't see anything noticeable. I will update the review later. NOTE: the taste is horrible but you know what they say? All the good medicines taste bad. So, I'm expecting really good things from this. I can’t easily swallow pills for no actual reason, so when my joints started to ache, I started looking at liquid options to help with joint pain. This product literally helped the first few days. I now only have a little pain in one knee (which was broken a few years back) while the other knee and my hands feel perfect. There were a lot of comments about the taste and I will admit it was a bit surprising the first time I took it. It tastes like a tropical cough medicine, however it is salty. The saltiness made it slightly unpleasant, but it’s only 2 tablespoons. Also, as time went by, it’s gotten better as I got used to the taste. There is no lingering aftertaste. To me, it is 100% worth it. I’ll absolutely buy it again.

Okay. Let me start by saying it tastes awful. The consistency of this 'juice' makes me refer to it by a different, inappropriate, name. No. I will not share the name, but if you purchase it, you will immediately know what that name is. Next, I will tell you that I have MS. To add injury to insult, I also have chronic Lyme disease and am being treated for both. As you can imagine, the treatments have been considerably hard on my body. Especially my bones. It took months of suffering to stumble onto this miracle liquid and I can positively say that my life, while taking Joint Complete, has become 90% better. Before I started taking it, my quality of life was nill. No walks. A few, if any, movie nights. To-the-point shopping trips, and all of this had to be done while I was in a constant state of, not just pain, AGONY. My knees were so bad, I needed help out of a chair. Even struggled to get off the potty. Now, some of you may think that's par for the coarse when you're a certain age, but I'm in my 30s. I didn't expect these things to be an issue until later. Much later. Thankfully, I found this product. It relieved nearly ALL of my knee pain the very first day I took it. Now, I'm not saying it will do the same for everybody, but hell. For the amount of relief I've obtained, Joint Juice is worth a try. No matter how icky it tastes. I take a cap full a day. If my knees, or any other body part, is acting up I'll take a bit more. Always helps. It should be refrigerated after opened, but I believe it still does it's job if left out by accident. The liquid likes to run down the side of the bottle after you've taken your cap full, so be careful. I've been so happy with this product that I haven't price shopped. Don't need to. Joint Juice is well, well worth the price.

I have some joint issues related to my knees and I did research on the available options for glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM supplements before I decided to buy this one for myself and got the Vimerson Glucosamine Chondroitin for my boyfriend (which will be reviewed separately). Factors that influenced my decision to purchase Tropical Oasis' Joint Complete Premium: 1) I wanted a liquid form of the supplement and this one had the most favorable taste reviews-- I found the taste to be okay, not too bad, not good. 2) I wanted a supplement that had a USP label or at least a GMP label. Reason being that despite what supplement manufacturers claim regarding purity and quality control, a lot of manufacturers put ingredients they do NOT disclose on their labels. A lot of them have heavy metal and other contaminants. Some even put prescription drugs into supplements marked as "natural" without disclosing it. While a GMP (Good manufacturing practice certification) is NOT a guarantee of purity and quality, it is an added layer of protection for peace of mind. 3) I wanted a supplement that contains not just Glucosamine sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate and Methylsulfonylmethane, but in certain amounts and this one had the closest ingredient match to what I was looking for. (I read independent, research studies that were done to test effectiveness and safety of the single ingredients to decide on the amounts of each ingredient that were safe as well as effective dosage). Factors that made me decide to return this product and write this review: 1) I haven't noticed any change in my joint issues. I am aware it can take supplements up to 4 weeks to work. It has been almost a month since I bought this product. There should have been some noticeable effect by now. 2) The main reason for my return is that I sent the manufacturer THREE emails via amazon's "contact seller" option, asking them to disclose what is the molecular weight of their Hyaluronic Acid, and asking them for a Certificate of Analysis for my peace of mind to see the results of independent third-party testing regarding heavy metals and microbial contaminants, as well as to see if the product has the ingredients it claims to on its label. The manufacturer NEVER responded. Frankly, that is a very bad sign. After having done enough research on Hyarluronic Acid, I am aware of the molecular weight ranges which can be beneficial and the ones that can lead to deleterious effects on the body, even including increasing risk factor for cancer development. Aside from that, only certain ranges of molecular weight have been shown to be effective for joint issues, while still being safe or at least not having any noticeable bad side effects. Being aware of the fact that the FDA has NO authority to regulate or monitor the safety of any product labeled as "dietary supplement" BEFORE it hits the market, and being aware that the FDA has limited authority to regulate dietary supplements even after they hit the market, unless it is DEFINITIVELY shown to cause SERIOUS ILLNESS, it falls upon the consumer to do our own due diligence to ensure the supplements we take are safe enough and that they indeed contain the ingredients they claim to contain. In light of the many cases where manufacturers put ingredients that are either low quality or are contaminated or ingredients they never disclosed on their labels, the most recent one being the 2015 case where the New York Attorney General issued a a cease and desist letter to some manufacturers of dietary supplements, the need for consumers to practice informed consumerism and ask for Certificate of Analysis to be displayed is even greater than before. The more of us who start asking for Certificates of Analysis to be published for every dietary supplement by the manufacturers, the more of us who practice informed consumerism, the safer it will be for all of us, and it will improve the quality of the dietary supplements available on the market when manufacturers won't be able to hide behind excuses like "proprietary information" or "confidentiality" clauses. Of the 23 dietary supplement manufacturers I contacted and asked for certificates of analysis for their products, only 3 actually provided them. One of them redacted the lab name, so by looking at the document one can't tell if the tests were performed by an independent lab or if their own company tested the ingredients, in which case they could put anything on that report and it detracts from the validity of the reported results. For reference, I am attaching the links at the bottom that shows how independent testing done by FDA in 2015 found some supplement manufacturers were mislabeling their ingredients, as well as links that detail what the FDA does and doesn't monitor. I refuse to pay any companies that are unwilling to show a certificate of analysis for their supplements. Instead, I choose to support businesses that practice full disclosure and complete transparency policy and provide full certificate of analysis. I hope this helps people to make more informed decisions regarding their health and what they want to spend their money on (I had to remove the links to FDA website and the other website because amazon wouldn't let me post otherwise, but interested consumers can search for it by typing FDA-regulation-dietary-supplement)
