They are cute. They are wrapped in hard plastic with metal frames. The plastic is colored like wrapping paper. They come assembled and nestled inside each other (no bottoms). They have a plug that connects them all and can be added into a chain of lights (both male and female plug). Cute but would be better if bigger, hence the 4 not 5.

These gift box decorations are ok but definitely a little cheaper looking than I expected. the metal cage of the frame is fine but the decorative portion is made of flimsy plastic panels that were zip tied to the frame. Most of the panels had ripped off of the zip tied area when I got them so they aren't even attached to the frame now. They still work and I am using them but was expecting a little better quality of product for the price.
