Description

Makes Camber adjustment a one-man job. Works on many GM and Chrysler vehicles using two-bolt lower strut mounts. Inflatable air bladder fits between tire and strut for easy and controlled adjustment of camber settings. 1. With strut mount bolts loosened, place the TOMCAT between the tire and strut. 2. Inflate the TOMCAT to push the wheel to a positive camber position. 3. To adjust the camber, slowly release air from the TOMCAT until the wheel retracts to the specified alignment setting. 4. Tighten the bolts and the adjustment is done.

Used daily multiple times for cars you have to get “just right”. This allows you to make very precise adjustments, it doesn’t like high pressure in our shop though. You definitely have to throttle it so the relief valve doesn’t open too soon.

    • A little pricy but works as intended.
Worked great for minor camber adjustments on SOME vehicles with quick struts. DO NOT close the blow off valve...it doesnt mess around. Blew mine up.

    • Time saver
Before this, I had to use the suspension raised and front wheels off program in our Hunter which took a lot of time and wasn't 100% accurate. This saves an enormous amount of time, allow for pprecise camber adjustment and it's a good quality tool. Now I just have to slip the bag between any macpherson strut and the tire, loosen the strut bolts with an impact gun and impact wobble sockets, adjust the pressure in the bag to adjust the camber and tighten the strut bolts back up.     • Lasts a long time
We have had one at our shop (same brand and size) for many many years. Price point is great if this one lasts as long as the last one did. Only concern was that it came in a flip top box and no tape or anything. i just opened the lip and there it was. Something could have fallen out or been taken out. All was there it was just a concern for future purchases. It is very sturdy and is made the same as the old one that we have. ... show more

    • A great tool for alignments
The bag was a little bigger than what I thought it was going to be but that’s my fault for assuming. I do alignments at work and this has been an extremely useful tool, it can handle a lot but just make sure you’re not pressurizing it against a sharp object.

    • Does not work!!
Pressure relief valve opens before it even starts to move the wheel. And it’s to large for most applications. Very disappointing.
