  • Nice gloves
Size: XX-Large
Very good gloves, I use these be themselves down to 35 degrees and they keep my hands warm on my work commute (20 min ride). I use some glove liners I bought at Walmart for $10 when temps drop below 35 and I’ve gone as low as 25 degrees with no problems. I’ll update when I find the limit to these gloves. Btw I’m from Wisconsin so I am quite used to the cold. If your not so used to it I would recommend a pair of heated liners under these gloves. Fit is small I wear xl and got xxl fits good. Update- kept using these gloves down to 15 degrees and when you get under 20 you will feel it after 10 min and then it just depends on your cold tolerance. The road conditions ended my riding season instead of my cold hands. Definitely recommend ... show more

  • Decent glove, just not for me.
Size: XX-Large
I chose this glove to retire my well used Icon Patrols. I ride year-round in the PNW where winters are cold and wet so I needed a glove that is warm and waterproof. The good: - Warmth: I didn't get much chance to test it in varying low temps, but in high 30s they kept my hands fairly comfortable. For being less bulky than my Patrols, they performed just as well if not better. - Feel: The inner lining is very soft and the leather is supple. - Quality: the overall build of the glove seems solid and I don't doubt they would last a long time. The bad: - Cuff: the cuff on these is fairly short. I feel like these would probably cause the gloves to not perform well in heavy rain. They only just cover the wrist straps of my jacket. If I stretch my arms out they would easily pull out from under the cuff. - Visor squeegee: the visor blade works just fine but I don't personally like it on the thumb. It feels more natural to me to use the ones attached to the outside of the index finger. - Fitment (subjective): The biggest issue and the reason I ultimately could not use this glove is it simply doesn't fit my hands well. I started with an XL size as it is the most common glove size that fits. I don't have very large hands but more often than not XLs fit me best over large. After reading all the reviews about sizing up, I kept with my normal size. The gloves fit perfectly when I had my hands in a neutral position. The problem was when I had to open my hand up to grip the controls of my bike. It seemed that the stitching and reinforcements in the webbing between my thumb and index finger was keeping me from being able to open my hands up. I could barely reach my levers. I returned the XL and exchanged them for 2XL. While I can now open my hands up to reach the controls, I still was getting some restriction that was causing fatigue and cramping in my hands. There was also now excess material in the fingers and did not have as nice of an overall fitment as the smaller ones. I actually had problems with fingers pinching material and keeping me from using two fingers to grab the levers. Overall these are nice gloves that are probably better suited to just cold riding more than rain. I understand not all gloves will fit everyone so I find it hard to fault the manufacturer on this. ... show more

  • Worth it !!
Size: XX-Large
Okay, I splurged on these gloves !! But I have to tell you that these gloves, from the first time you put them on. You will feel their quality and clean design. These gloves are "Awesome" and I already let go of the pain of the cost. I read some negative reviews from what I think are not seasoned riders. They fit fine over my jacket sleeves and lock right in with the cool draw cord and slip stop , quick release cinch nut ! Just remember that when you buy motorcycle jackets, shirts, etc. You should be sure your sleeve length are 3 to 4 inches longer than normal clothing. So on that tip ! Let's move on with the review !! It was also mentioned that the fingers are sewn too tight and don't allow your fingers to fully extend ? I would say that you must have the expectation of a break in period. Yes like any good fitting glove, it should be snug and loosen up from being used. Or you can do like I did because of my experience with leather products and use some leather products to achieve a break-in period in about 30 minutes. The gloves are very well made, soft, warm and manage all my controls well. They are the high quality that customers have come to expect from Joe Rocket products. Buy with confidence you will be pleased... ... show more

  • Decent cool weather gloves.
Size: X-Large
I ride daily 9 months out of the year in Maine, so I have some experience with cold weather! I keep my bikes ready to go for the odd decent day in December-February. It's generally the road conditions and not the cold that keeps me off of two wheels, though. For the cold days (sub 30 degrees) I wear some big leather mittens that are hard to beat. However, for the vast majority of "cold" (30 to 50 degrees) weather riding these gloves are very good. They don't impede getting at any of the controls. The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is that since they don't breathe very well, they actually don't keep your hands as warm in temperatures above 40 degrees because your hands will sweat. It was a little disconcerting when I first got them, but now that I know it, I just switch to plain leather gloves with wool glove liners for that temp range. Not a deal breaker for sure, just not perfect. ... show more

  • They're what I expected after a test ride
Size: Small
I know the pic isn't that good but something is better than nothing. So first thing, the gloves arrived lightning fast so double thumbs up to the seller. First test ride goes like this. I bundled up in four layers with a couple hot hands in my third layer fleece pullovers pockets, and set out in 44 degree temps with a little sun and a light wind. I stuck to back roads doing an average of 45 mph for an hour and a half. The gloves did a fantastic job. My hands were not cold when I arrived home. I have been riding four decades and normally all done when temps here in New England drop below 65 so these will extend my riding season a little bit. The only negative I can say is they are a little bulky and operating the clutch was a little more work but I may be able to adjust it to be an easier reach with the gloves we shall see. These will likely not see a whole lot of use on the bike but they may do double duty when running the snowblower. I'm going to treat them with silicone waterproofing as I do all of my leather products. All in al I like these, I'd buy them again l, and I'd buy from this seller again as well. ✌️💕 ... show more
