When I first open the package I thought “wow how cheaply made is all this stuff?” And then I said “well I only spent $25 (40% off), I can’t complain!” I haven’t done my own nails in decades. Let alone, I was very nervous to apply gel. I’ve always done a poor job. I’m used to spending $140 for a Gel mani and pedi. This little kit is the best! I actually enjoyed doing my nails too! Which is odd. You only need a conservative amount for each coat. As for the color polish, just make sure it looks even. No need to add multiple coats. Only do the UV light for 60s. No more. Oh! And don’t shake the bottles on your first time, it coats the brush too much with the liquid Gels. I also recommend keeping the box and inserts to keep the bottles upright. See the photos at how well my first time came out.

So far (1st manicure in), this is a fantastic kit! So easy to use, great selection, and came with more than I even knew I needed! Can’t wait to see how long the manicure lasts! Toes are next! And all this plus so many more for less than the price of one salon manicure!

The price is reasonable for what you get considering the bottle size. I wouldnt say the colors are perfectly as advertised, but the coverage is amazing. i usually only need one coat. I would recommend buying a larger bottle of white polish to mix your own colors as well which helps with the slightly limited color selection! One thing i will note is that the base and top coats smell absolutely horrendous, nothing any type of ventilation can fix. i was nauseous for two days after attempting a glitter top coat on a set of nails. i dont know if this is normal as this is the only gel polish set i have bought but be weary if you are sensitive to smells like i am 😕 other than that, while i’m not a huge fan of these polishes, i think they are good for beginners on a budget!

My first try and I really like it. Started with a lighter color for my first time. I Need more practice. But definitely worth it. Works the same as the expensive salon. I know people have commented on how small the bottles are. But gives you a range to try until you know your favorites. You can probably get 2-3 polishes out of each bottle.

Great set! It comes with 20 colors that are perfect for summer. The gel is a nice consistency. Thick enough to hold shape before curing but not to thick and sticky. The colors are also very pigmented. They aren’t very big bottle but because of the texture and pigment, I didn’t really have to use too much product so these gels will definitely last me a while. The white gel is oddly thin and a bit watery like normal polish. I ended up having to do two coats of it. In the photo, it looks there is a burgundy red color but after using it, it is clear it’s a fuchsia pink.

I love the set as there are many beautiful colors for every season. I have no issues with the UV light. It appears to work well. My biggest complaint is the nail polish itself. As countless others have mentioned, the bottles are extremely tiny. With that said, you are not supposed to use a ton of nail polish or else it will result in peeling. I’ve only painted my nails a few times at this point, and I realize a little nail polish and patience goes a long way. To avoid peeling, I recommend doing many thin layers to build the color. Absolutely do not get the color on your finger around the nail edge because that will contribute to peeling. I found success with painting on a thin layer of Vaseline around the nail, which prevents the nail polish from touching the skin. I will update later as I use this product.
