As a woman who loves unisex and men's fragrances, I "soften" the initial "edge" of this powerhouse with something vanilla or Cream Velvet-y. Ok first off I want to thank the seller suntrack, they delivered faster than anticipated AND they gave a 1ml sample. Seriously thank you! Nobody does this anymore. I have 300+ bottles and for $300 you normally get slow shipping, no samples, a bad box and a bad bottle. I buy perfume like toilet paper, you would think they would want to include samples so I buy more. As for wildcard, wow! It’s not just a good 1 to 1 dupe of Lafayette street from bond no9, it’s literally better in every way. This is quite simply the best clone I have and is in my top 3 PERIOD. It has better projection, longevity and I even like the bottle better than the bond one. The scent itself is as blind buy safe as they come. It’s magnificent. It smells like the best most upscale dryer sheet you’ve ever smelled. It is obviously more complex than that but if you want to smell cleaner and fresher than everyone else, you wear this or Prada lhomme. Someone U knew was wearing this and it smelt good. Now they were wearing a different one and I took a chance of this one. OMG its amazing!! Last about 6-8 hrs. Perfect for date night or for casual. Ive recieved a lot of compliments. The box it came in is wraped in suade the gold spade emblem on the box is metal. This has to be the best presentation to a cologne i've ever seen. Game of Spades Wildcard is best understood as a Bond No. 9 Lafayette Street clone, and it’s a surprisingly strong one. From the first spray, the direction is clear. This sits firmly in that sweet, fruity, slightly creamy modern designer-niche lane Lafayette Street made popular. The opening is bright and juicy. You get a fruity citrus blend with apple and bergamot, which gives it a lively, slightly playful start. It’s sweet but not syrupy, and it immediately has that “crowd-friendly luxury” feel Lafayette Street is known for. As it settles, the fragrance becomes smoother and more addictive. The mid introduces vanilla and soft florals, which start pulling it into that creamy, slightly airy sweetness. This is where the DNA becomes very recognizable. If you’ve smelled Lafayette Street, you’ll immediately catch the resemblance here. The drydown is where Wildcard really shines. You get warm vanilla, tonka, and clean musky woods, which give it that polished, lingering sweetness that works so well in social settings. It stays smooth and slightly fruity without turning heavy or overly dense. In terms of closeness, this is one of the better interpretations of the Lafayette Street profile in the affordable space. The original is still more refined and better blended, but Wildcard captures the core DNA very well. In the air, most people will absolutely get the same vibe.
