**Updated at bottom These are way better than the saggy nets. I bought a used JL and the nets were completely unusable and an eyesore. I wanted a replacement with easy installation that did not require me to drill or make new holes in my doors. These were a great purchase. My reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it would be a much cleaner look if the edges of these panels were to actually tuck into the gap created by the original netting panel on the door. I honestly did not look really close at the install pictures in of the product page until I spent 10 minutes trying to tuck them into the panel..my bad. Then I realized there was no way it was going to work and looked closer at the install pictures. I am happy with these even if it does not look quite as clean as i wanted. They are great. I am trying to find the rear ones to match. Just a tip, I think it looks much better if you remove the old netting, I have seen people in videos leaving them on, but don't care for the look myself. To do it just take some nice sharp pointy scissors, pull on each strand of the net and cut as close to the door as possible. I was able to remove all traces the netting was there except the main elastic piece that runs the length of the top...that is still sticking out a bit but gets covered pretty well by these panels. Pro's - Easy installation -Look way better than the netting -Price was good---$69 deal for black friday Con's -Even though I have manual seats I hear a tiny "cling" when I close the driver side door -Wish these were made to tuck into the original net panel (at the bottom of the door) instead of sitting on top **Updated after a couple months use: I have dropped a star off because I just had to do some wiring under my driver side dash and as i was lowering myself down i put some weight on this pocket, not all my weight, just a little and the whole thing came falling off my door, full panel, and the brackets and everything I had in there. Not happy with how easily it was able to come off and drop all of my stuff. Its too late to return these otherwise I would, but I am going to be looking for a replacement. ... show more

My habit is to wait before reviewing anything. That way my readers know that I have tested each product and I'm not just excited about getting a new product in the mail. I recently added the JL Metal Front Door Storage Pocket Boxes to my 2023 Gladiator, and they're like the Swiss Army knife pockets I never knew I needed. They blend in seamlessly, making my Jeep look even more rugged and ready for adventure—if that's even possible! These pockets are perfect for holding all the essentials: sunglasses, snacks, that mystery bolt you found on the floor mats (fingers crossed it's not important). However, there's a little catch—literally. The edges on these organizers are sharper than a rookie off-roading mistake. I'm slightly worried they might snag my work pants, and as much as I love a good rip for style's sake, surprise ventilation isn't part of my dress code at work. Also there are no directions included with the item. It was easy to figure out but I included some photos that may help someone figure out how to install this. I appreciate that they included all the tools to install this, especially the star bit for the factory installed screws on the door. So, while they boost my storage game and look great doing it, just be cautious when hopping in and out.
