This is a cheaply made price of garbage. I am a licensed electrician and this is the cheapest, most difficult motion light to adjust that I have ever seen. When the lights turn on they are about 1/2 as bright as an incandescent 100w flood light. I messed with it for 2 hrs and could not get it adjusted properly. The instructions say it will detect up to 65’ but with the range knob all the way up you can literally walk within 5’ of the light before it detects you. That is if it detects anything at all. I was able to walk right past it without it detecting me every other time I tested it. I know how all the adjustment knobs work and that you need to hard reset the motion sensor every time an adjustment is made. The only reason it has so many good reviews is the company will send you another light for free once you review it. I will bought 2 and will be returning both. ... show more

The design of this security light includes three small lamp heads which are adjustable as to direction. Additionally, there is a weather hood over each light which rotates independently and allows for many different configurations which are not possible with the standard design of these types of lights. Why did ths work for me? Because the existing light fixture (which this will replace) is right next to a downspout from one of the gutters on my roof. Because these heads are adjustable, I can point one of the lamp heads behind the downspout--something which a standard designed fixture is not suitable for. This product is otherwise well designed, has several versatile features including the ability to set it so it is on at dark and off at light.     • Range and Motion sensoring is a joke- Updated 9/6/20

Purchased this light and mounted on the side of my garage to light the patio in between the house and garage. Patio is about a 30x30 slab area. Light is mounted at about 7' off the ground with sensor pointed straight out facing the door from the house. The light install was easy enough and it's plenty bright. I liked the three heads so I could cover the entire area better than the 2 head this replaced. After some tinkering with settings I thought the light was all good. The tinkering has turned to daily adjustments over a more than a month period and this thing still doesn't work as expected. I'm using for motion only at night as I want light to come on to see in between the house and garage. It doesn't matter where I put the settings, you have to be within 10' of the light for it to come on. Damn thing never comes on when I want it to. I can be standing right in front of it at the grill flipping a burger and it does not detect that I am there and shuts off. It comes on periodically through the night when nothing is there to set it off. I'm very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it to anyone. I should have spent the extra 20 bucks and just bought one locally that I know would have done the job. Complete Chinese Junk!! Update 9/6/20- So the company contacted me via email and offered to send me another light. I took them up on it figuring maybe I just got a lemon the first time. NOPE- Still the same piece of junk it was to begin with. With the light on most sensitive settings I would need to walk within 5-10 foot of it to come on, yet it would come on and off at all hours of the night. I ended up taking the replacement down after a month and buying one locally that actually works the way it should. One note regarding the motion and length of time it stays on- Every other motion light I have ever owned would reset the time it stays on each time it would detect motion. This one turns off after the time limit is reached even if you are standing or walking right in front of it. Complete design flaw. Buy something else. ... show more

I was looking for the brightest flood light I could find at a great price. This light is very bright white and lights up my entire house perimeter. I have about a dozen of them around the garage and house. I did not use the motion detection just on and off. This light is also neighbor friendly because of the 3 adjustable heads on the light. I can point the light further down and not out towards my neighbors house to minimize the amount of light I send towards their property. The three heads also allow me to light a larger area on a corner of the house or garage. As you can see, my yard is very dark because I live in a wooded area, but with these lights it's almost daylight. ... show more

Received the JJC LED light promptly after order. We placed the light above garage and the install was a breeze. All necessary parts included. We aimed each light where needed and the coverage of the lighting is just what was needed for this very dark area. The motion detection is superior. This is exactly what we needed! I searched multiple websites and hardware stores and could not find anything that compares to this price and features. Most are double the price. So glad we did purchase as it does what it is supposed to do and it is built very well. Very happy with this purchase. BTW the warranty is very good. Installed two of these lights, one under the eave to replace an existing dual flood light and the other on the side of a storage building. Pointed one of the three lamps on the eave mount behind the gutter downspout next to the light fixture. The lights are very good quality, easy to install and adjust the direction, generate a very bright white light, and come with a five-year warranty. Initially, the lights did not turn off in auto mode when set to be on for more than a few seconds and at the maximum range. After several reductions in the range sensitivity, the lights would turn off but the range was insufficient. Customer service promptly provided the latest range setting instructions in response to my email which corrected the range issue when applied. Lights working great now.
