  • Goldilox would love this! It fits JUST RIGHT to hold my Sony alpha. PERFECT!
Color: Black
I have always wanted this & didn't know it. I hate the neck strap, but if you have an expensive camera it is stupid to not secure it, especially if you hike with your camera. I NEVER wore the strap around my neck; I even bought a new one to try to make that work, but it didn't feel comfortable or secure. If I'm climbing, the camera is going to hit rock swinging around my neck, so it's not even a solution. I twisted the neck strap around my right hand. Now, I have a strap designed to work like that. Also, we gotta be honest; these cameras get dirt out of the ether! I have to keep mine in a ziplock gallon bag or a snug fitting, padded camera case in my backpack when not in use. Otherwise I end up with schmutz or a hair on the mirror or lens, which I only notice after I've ruined the perfect shot. Where does the mirror dirt come from? So I store mine in a padded case in a backpack & pull out to shoot. This is the strap I have always wanted. I have smaller man hands, big woman hands--muscular & thick for a woman. I wear surgical 7.5 gloves. I put this on the tightest setting for the grip & then worked the smaller snap strap. I thought that was supposed to go around my thumb & it was tight & messed up the fit. I realized it's a safety strap that snaps, & goes around your wrist. It slides up to the thumb joint when holding the camera, but it goes around the wrist. I have it set to the tightest length & it fits perfectly. This is super secure. I love this. Can't wait to use it! So exciting to have JUST the right tool! I believe this will work for most hand sizes. Not bigfoot paws; but everything under Men's XL-work-gloves-are-way-too-tight-for-you, should work. I thought I'd hate the bottom mount shoe--it is awesome & so well thought out. The flip finger screw tightening & the second mount for tripod into the strap plate are beautifully conceived & executed. It makes the strap crazy secure. ... show more

  • Thoughtful features make this a fine product.
Color: Black
I purchased this 'Deluxe' version over the 'Pro' version because, when looking at product listings before purchase, I noted a couple of differences in the camera plate that I figured would be appealing versus the 'bent-plate' design. The Arca-style plate allows the camera to be snapped onto your so-equipped tripod instantly. This is a great feature. The rotating connection eye on the camera plate really is a great idea. It locks in either position that you choose to use. If you're not using a shoulder strap or wish to set the camera onto a table, etc., the eye rotates flat to the plate so it doesn't protrude like fixed plate designs do, allowing the camera to sit without falling over. Yes, the plate also includes a threaded hole so it needn't be removed to attach to a tripod using the screw fitting. Although they may not seem like much, these little details are very thoughtful and useful. I am still fiddling with the fit and whether to use the added buckle on my camera. I'm not yet sure how it improves the fit. I am hoping to achieve a better fit because initially it seems like the angle that my hand is forced to hold the camera isn't optimal anymore and makes it more difficult to press buttons on the camera without contorting my fingers awkwardly. I'm hoping I can adjust this out of the fit. because I do like the concept of this hand strap. ... show more

  • Worked great on safari, but the bottom does not stay tight.
Color: Black
Used it on a safari in Africa and worked well. Comfortable and sturdy, however the bottom screw where it attaches does come loose pretty often. You really gotta get it good and tight to keep it that way. But that's a minor inconvenience and as long as you're not whipping the camera around you should be fine. ... show more

  • Great strap, comfortable and secure!
Color: Red
I read a few reviews about sweating, I have not had that issue (I don’t wear it so tight that there’s no air flow). Works great, very comfortable, it’s my new go-to! I only wish I could come up with an efficient quick release to swap straps around. There are some out there but they are clunky and bigger than they need to be, which impacts adjusting a strap like this as snug as it should be. I will eventually make something, I’m sure. ... show more

  • 100% worth the money

  • Fits a full frame DSLR too
Color: Red
I bought this for a Nikon Z6 (mirrorless) so I could swap out the Cotton Carrier hand strap I have on it to a Nikon D800. It turns out that this strap fit the D800 perfectly. Out of all the hand straps I've ever bought (some stupidly expensive) this was the easiest to install. It's comfortable and really well made. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Good Strap

Strap works well, only complaint is it makes it hard to change the battery.

  • Secure, adjustable, comfortable
Color: Black
Installation was a challenge, but once it fit the hand securely the fine-tuned adjustments had been worth it. With the snapped-on wrist band, I could even let go of the camera and it would not drop to the ground. The attachment point on the camera had a piece of plastic for strain release (I’m guessing) that prevented the hand grip’s metal connector to slide over it so I just looped its fabric loop through the camera ring and it’s strong enough. After a half dozen cameras from 35mm SLRs to my present mirrorless full-frame, all with one hand grip or another, this has been the best. Next time, I hope this hand grip came in real leather. ... show more
