The case I bought was advertised for the new Canon G5 X Mark II. It's a very tight fit and seems a little small for the camera. There is an inside slot to carry an extra battery, but the camera and the battery will not fit. It is good for a smaller camera, and for protecting it from scratches in my purse until something a little larger comes out.

I've been using this with my Ricoh GRIII for months and I love it. The camera fits snugly, but the case is stretchy enough to easily get the camera in and out. It has space for a couple of extra batteries, and offers just the right amount of padding and protection, while remaining pocketable.

This is a simple snug-fitting case, just the right size for the Ricoh GR3X. Form and function are great for the price. …but the smell is awful. It has a persistent chemically plastic smell that permeates anything around it. Because of this, I cannot use it. I’ll have to see if it gets better after it airs out over time. Check in: the smell dissipated over a few weeks. It’s still there in a subtle way, but it is usable now.

I was hesitant about buying it because I wasn’t sure my camera would fit. I have a G7X Mark II… and it fits perfectly and I know it’s safe from scratches while in my purse… only thing it doesn’t fit with the G7X silicone cover… it’s still good.
