I can’t even tell you how many curtains/styles/colors I went through before finding these!! I bought the dusty purple I believe, and they are so soft and beautiful-color exactly as expected. Despite my photo with sun/blind lines (this occurred only because curtains aren’t closed all the way at the ends) they are true black out curtains, and only one layer which is incredible. These velvet curtains are so beautiful and hang really nice. Soft but not overly soft and not flimsy, was really impressed with how nice they were. They do a wonderful job of keeping the room dark. The ties also add a nice touch. Very happy I ordered these! Just beautiful!

I've been trying a lot of these "velvet" (none of them are actually velvet, more like velvety-type fabric on a budget) so-called "black-out" curtains from the myriad vendors on Amazon, and sending them all back for various reasons, but these ones I think I'll keep. The fabric is very soft and smooth (different from and nicer than the others I've tried) and they drape well. Came with almost no wrinkles. The yellow color is really lovely, not too bright, not too muted, just Goldilocks-right. However, I'm taking a star off because they are very thin fabric (don't understand reviews saying the fabric is thick 🤷🏻♀️) and they are not even remotely close to being black-out! This is such a false advertising by most of the vendors of these kinds of curtains, so I did expect it at this point. With my blinds open behind them, tons of light comes through. With my blinds closed behind them there is still a lot of sun that comes through. It is only when my cotton curtains that are also on this window are closed (plus the blinds closed) that there is an adequate light-blocking effect. I know that supposedly darker colors do better, but people should manage their expectations on the "black-out" aspect. I do like that the backside is dark, and I hope they will still have some thermal insulating effect. ... show more

These feel so nice, very thick material and seem to be good quality! Some wrinkles from being folded but not bad at all. These look gorgeous in person. Definitely block a lot of light. Going to order another 2 sets for our bedroom. This is the wild rose color. My lighting is very dark in the living room so take that into account when looking at the photos. ... show more
