I like that they keep the room dark, they are thick, oh sooo soft, look and feel lovely, are good quality material. there are ties attached which was a surprise bonus. My neighbor behind my room has a very bright light in their back yard. It keeps my room so bright at night I did not need to turn my own lights on, the brightness disrupted my sleep. I use these behind the curtains so the are not seen but they defiantly keep the light out. I would recommend them for the room darkening purpose.
