These are beautiful opaque curtains that do their job pretty well! I bought the white ones because they matched my room and I needed curtains that allowed for light as well as privacy. Below are the pros and cons. PROS: - Not sheer but opaque enough for light filtration. This is not a blackout curtain but is exactly what I was looking for in regards to light filtration. - allow a decent amount of light in during the day. It covers the sun’s rays but still allow a room to be lit up by the sunshine. - though a decent amount of light still comes into the room, it does not compromise on privacy. No one can see into my bedroom if I were to draw these curtains during the day due to the nice thickness. - Rod rings allow for easy drawing and opening of curtains - waffle texture is not tacky. The “waffling” itself is a satin looking thread while the base of the curtain is a cotton white. - Perfect length, no mismatch of length in either panel. CONS - came with a little bit of debri that came off with a swipe of a hand. MISC. I would recommend ironing these curtains before putting them up to allow the drapery to reach its full potential. You don’t have to but you risk an unappealing crinkled look due to the way the curtain is folded in the packaging. OVERALL I fell in love with these curtains after I ironed them and put them up. They provide amazing privacy while still allowing a brightly lit room. It is a beautiful design that is not tacky or unappealing. Very pretty and compliment my “Scandinavian interior design” room gorgeously. Highly recommend, especially for the price. If you happen to get a pair that has a stain, using a little bit of “Shout Stain remover” will fix the problem. We use these curtains in multiple places indoors and outdoors. We use some of them outside to stop the sun from making us uncomfortable when outside on the patio. These curtains let light in but keep harsh sun rays out. I bought them in white. A few got very dirty because they were left hanging outside during a summer storm. I machine washed them on gentle cycle and then put them in the dryer on low setting. They came out looking like new! They are sewed well and made of good material so I expect they will last a long time. I am very happy with this purchase, which is why I bought several of these. ... show more

I ordered 3 pairs this morning and recieved them the same day. Thanks for the same day shipping! As for the actual curtains, there is a sheen to them that whispers low end to me. I would use these for a kids room, college dorm, or my first studio apartment. These are definitely budget curtains. There are two panels in each order. The weave in some areas may be a little loose and easily snag. Two panels out of six panels ordered had the fibers pulled.The design is nice if you are looking for texture, a raised diamond pattern. Each panel has weight to it. The grommets are sturdy and silver. The panel also offers medium/no glare coverage from the sun. Not my style, will be returning. Hope this helps. Tried to capture the sheen I mentioned in the attached photos. Update: I did live with them for 2 days and I still dont care for them. One positive, they do help keep the bedroom cool.
