The jinchan Linen Tie Up Valance is exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen. The material has a good weight, and the slate blue flax color is even better than expected, perfectly matching the one I order with it. It offers functionality with options to tie up or leave down for added privacy and is light-filtering. It was very easy to hang, especially after looking up some how-to guides since this was my first experience with tie-up valance window treatments. The length of the valance matched the ordered size perfectly. The height is adjustable based on how you tie it. Folding the curtain into a fan shape and looping the back tie around the front tie at your desired level on each side made it easy to hang. However, tying a bow, if that’s the look you're going for, was a bit tricky for me. The only minor suggestion I have is to check the strings before hanging the valance, as there were some on ours. But overall, it wasn’t an issue. Highly recommend! I bought two sizes 42 x 45 (which I should order one size longer) 45 x 36 perfect !

They tie up easily, and although I haven’t used it not tied up, I’m sure that it would work well to prevent peeking through the window—because it definitely isn’t made from a thin material. I bought the brick red farmhouse pattern, and it suits my slightly country kitchen. It was a good price for a small curtain. Buy it!

Excellent quality, very thick and sturdy. These are quite nice. They arrived exactly as described, the colors are true to the descriptions and photos. Very easy to hang. I will order more from this line. A quick, inexpensive, easy way to dress up a room. They are thick and do block light, but not substantially so. The texture is very nice and they hang well after installing. This one is a win!

I purchased this for our bathroom window, wasn't sure I would like it with the ties because I don't like to fuss. I mostly leave it tied in the same position but it's not a big deal to re-tie it. The fabric is soft and attractive, the color is as expected and it doesn't wrinkle easily. I love that the ties are finished on both sides. A good value for the price paid.
