This is partly my fault. I ordered three sets of gold. I did look at review photos since they tend to be more realistic. However, the lighting was weird because customers are taking a picture of a bright window. Now that I've seen them in person, I can tell you that the sellers photos are more accurate. Zoom into those photos if you're thinking about buying these to see the decorative details. Gold is literally shiny metallic gold not a muted matte gold such as goldenrod like I expected. I made that regrettable assumption because why on earth someone would want shiny gold on shiny sheer fabric, I do not know. I absolutely HATE them. Unless your home is decorated like the stage of a high school Greek play, I do not recommend buying the gold color. I tried to make myself like them and I can't. Aside from the embroidery, the weight of the sheer fabric is not heavy enough compared to similar products which makes them feel and look cheap. I realized this the day after my return window closed and now I'm stuck with them/need to take them to goodwill. Giving three stars because I should have looked closer at the seller's photos, they were delivered in a reasonable time, were clean, packaged properly, etc. I've purchased from this seller before (different type of curtain) and I love the other curtains I bought. This was a hard fail.

I wanted something sheer and light for my large picture windows that would be big enough to adequately cover with only 2 panels. I searched for days before finding these and I'm so glad I did! I love them! They're perfect! They are sheer, but the picture makes then look completely see thru, which isn't the case, luckily lol. My only suggestion would be to adjust the diamond shapes in the embroidered pattern so that they go up and down vertically instead of horizontally, this adjustment would help the embroidered ends to be more flowy instead of laying flat. See pic for example, the embroidered ends don't ruffle very well, they just lay flat. Additionally, one of the panels edge design is a little crooked, and the reason I removed 1 star. I don't want to deal with a return and new purchase, so I'm just gonna swap sides and hope the other edge is straight...All in all a great purchase!
