The taper and length of the nozzle's inlet and outlet determine the pattern and velocity of the abrasive exiting the nozzle. The composition of the liner material determines its resistance to wear. Designed for surface cleaning,rust removal and glass,aluminum alloy and other decorative surface sandblasting,marble engraving. Specifications: Condiiton: 100% Brand New Material: Aluminum + boron carbide Color:Black + Sliver boron carbide Nozzle Internal diameter:8mm Operation: 1.The operator inserts the nozzle washer into a contractor-thread nozzle holder and screws in the nozzle, turning it by hand, until it seats firmly against the washer. 2.With all related equipment correctly assembled and tested, the operator points the nozzle at the surface to be cleaned and presses the remote control handle to begin blasting. 3.The operator holds the nozzle 18 to 36 inches from the surface and moves it smoothly at a rate that produces the desired cleanliness. Each pass should overlap slightly. 4.The operator must replace the nozzle once the orifice wears 1/16-inch beyond its original size. I bought this to replace the gun that came with a Harbor Freight blast cabinet. Works really well. I've had it for about 1-1/2 years, and it's gotten a lot of use. I'm restoring a car, so mostly what I blast is steel, using aluminum oxide. It wants a lot of air, but if you can give it that, it really goes to town, cutting through mill scale and heavy rust. I just bought this, installed it in my blast cabinet and tried it out. Well nothing happened, So I pulled the gun apart and found that the air nozzle had not been through drilled when it was made. I drilled it out to the diameter of the nozzle end to that size. Once I had it drilled and back together it was a great blasting gun. I have had issues with my blasting media not being lifted up to the gun. I found that there were no issues with this unit and it flows significantly more than my previous $110 gun. I was able to reduce the pressure and had more consistent and uniform blasting patterns, no more streaky lines on the parts. This has saved me lots of time standing around waiting for my parts to cleanup. I am running a deep well blast cabinet with 80grit Al oxide and a twin piston 12cfm compressor. I will say this seems to require a good amount of air flor but less pressure. I think it would do a great job with vapor blast cabinets or even spraying masonry coatings or stucco and plaster.It has a plastic housing for the blasting nozzle which would likely be better for wet operations, but also looks like It can hold a wide variety of nozzle sizes. 4 stars because I had to fix it right away, but otherwise its 5 stars for the price. I would suggest this to a friend or other people Microsoft thinks would enjoy their operating systems. ... show more

Stellar looking tool , have to do some work on the fitting to fit my junk . My blast cabinet is old as dirt trying to retro fit new to old . Can unscrew the lower fitting suction side , top one is fixed is a 1/2 “ on both . Quality piece I believe . I will check later when installation is over .

Works great. It really sticks the sand up. That's the biggest problem with nozzles. The other biggest problem is plugging the nozzle. This nozzle does not have an issue with either of those problems. I retrofitted a harbor freight cabinet and trashed the HF gun that always clogs. Very pleased fit the cost. I wouldn't believe even the more expensive would do better. ... show more

As many other people have stated these WILL NOT work at all right out of the box. You MUST install a washer directly behind the boron nozzle to prevent it from sucking backward and stopping all flow. Once you get that corrected it will work very good.

DID I SAY WOW!!! This is the best tool upgrade I've ever done in 40 years!!! 10 STARS!!! This thing kills it. I have a the big Harbor Freight blast cabinet, the gun that came with it was garbage, I upgraded it to a better one I thougt but it was so slow at cleaning. THIS IS MY THIRD ONE AND IT FLAT OUT ROCKS. I blast with sand, regular kiddy sand from Home Depot, this works so good my compressor has a hard time keeping up, its a 60 gallon, 5 horse, 220 volts, 2 cylinder and I have a 1/2" tube for sand pickup and its always uncovered it has so much through put. So I need to get three bags because two isn't enough! Seriously this is like going from a toy to an adult tool!!! Something that works! Only thing I wish it has was a on/off trigger, but I can install a valve and live with it . WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS!!! ... show more
