They are beautiful and come rolled rather than folded, so you don't have to worry about ironing out the creases. Some of the spaces are super tiny so I would recommend getting a magnifying glass to help you with those areas. Get some really fine tip brushes too. I bought mine at Michael's.

The template itself for this painting is fine, but all of the paints that come with it are completely off in color. The colors are all way too dark and are hard to differentiate when they’re put next to each other on the canvas. It’s a shame because the template is nice and the paints are actually good quality, but the colors are so off that the painting isn’t going to turn out anything like it shows in the picture. I’m very disappointed with this product. Update: I ended up continuing with the painting even though the colors are off. I had to add white or black to the ones that were way too dark or light, but overall it has turned out nice. The colors definitely aren’t as vibrant as they are in the picture, but it still turned out pretty and it was fun to paint. ... show more

I really want to like the kit I got. One piece has less detail and is very relaxing. The other, however, has far too many details crammed together making it nearly impossible to read the numbers, much less distinguish the border of the area you're supposed to paint. The paints themselves are quite thick making it difficult to apply, and if you thin them you overcome this multiple layers are required for good coverage. The kits are a great price though, but be ready for a real challenge or labor of love if you choose something detailed. ... show more

I’m at the age where small print is hard to see, but I haven’t gotten glasses yet. Some of the numbers are very small, BUT my 7 year old is having the time of her life painting this. It does come with a small colored painting, to show you what it’s supposed to look like. I will staple it to a canvas when I have a minute, but for now I just used shipping tape to secure the top and bottom to the frame of a blank canvas I bought at the store. The four edges of the canvas were different lenghths. the 2 canvas ends were okay but the top and bottom were short. Usual rule of thumb is that you need 1 1/4-1 3/4 inches to go around the frame. The two ends were okay but the top and bottom were a little short and hard to stretch the canvas with pliers. ... show more
