Read the description carefully. The 5th picture is deceiving as it shows a black back. The back is clear, cheap, thin, bendable plastic, not the color you choose. Extremely cheesy, especially the clear back which is paper thin and would doubtfully provide any drop protection. Does fit the iPhone 17e however it's extremely slippery to hold, providing no grip. If you rarely use your phone, it would probably be fine. The color is only the plastic around the very edges of the case. I was able to return it without a problem. Ended up spending an additional $15 and bought a very sturdy Otterbox case. It's important to note that Otterbox cases surely aren't as well made as they used to be though and they no longer include a glass/plastic front, but they do provide a heck of a lot more protection as long as you don't mind a bulkier case and a superior grip.
