The white cream does darken slightly after applied. Goes on smoothly with the tip of my finger. I would never put it on a brush as most of it would be wasted in the brush. The tube is very tiny for the cost, otherwise I would give it a higher rating. It is lightweight as described, but it feels dry, not hydrating, once applied. It has no scent. It is nice, but I have never tried any other self-adjusting color foundations before, so I don't know how it would compare. I wish it would darken up just a little more.
