Fixed starting problem in the winter. Only thing I didn't like was the battery box was a little bigger then expected and had to mount in a different direction then I wanted. Otherwise vary happy with purchase.

Terrible battery box and tie downs. Purchase some battery cable and a battery box separately you'll save some money as well as having a better overall setup. And don't forget the conduit tubing to cover the power wire and wire tie downs. I ended up using Christmas tree style clips with built in zip ties that worked great. ... show more

Had to relocate the battery to the trunk due to the extremely tight fit under the hood that not only limited the size and shape of the battery but still became a hassle to install when you have the right size. Problem I had with this purchase is mostly the box. It's way too tall and the length is a bit of a issue too. I only had one viable mount place available to mount it due to the spare tire location. If I installed the battery box I wouldn't be able to remove the lid much less replace the battery when needed. It would hit the top side of the trunk. So ended up using the original battery tray from the engine bay with has a side bracket to hold in place then add the strap underneath just for alittle extra peace of mind since the original always kept it tight. The tie down "brackets " that is to secure the strap and battery to the trunk floor is cheap flimsy plastic with small self tapping screws which are both bad ideas. Need to be solid metal brackets with bolts and lock nuts to secure it properly which I had to buy from lowes. I'm running the red wire over the plastic rear wheel well down through the side plastic panel that's just below the doors the back up to the engine. ... show more
