Upgrading the stock red assembly on a 2020-2026 Gladiator to these smoked lens LED tail lights completely changes the rear profile of the truck. The flush-mount styling looks incredibly sleek and sits much tighter against the body lines compared to the chunky factory housing, which is an immediate visual upgrade. The installation process is incredibly straightforward and a true DIY plug-and-play setup. The factory-style connectors match up perfectly with the original wiring harness, and since they feature a built-in decoder, there are zero dashboard errors or hyper-flashing indicators to deal with after snapping them into place. The step-by-step instructions are clear, and the pre-positioned mounting points allow everything to lock down solidly in under 15 minutes per side. However, it is highly important to point out that if your vehicle is equipped with factory blind spot monitoring sensors, these housings are not compatible as they don't have the internal space or brackets to transfer those modules over. Performance-wise, the brightness is outstanding. The LEDs are sharp and immediate, providing excellent daytime visibility for the daytime running lights and turn signals, while the ultra-bright reverse lights make a massive difference when backing up at night. One of the dumbest engineering flaws on the Jeep Gladiator is the taillights. If you ask anyone who actually off-roads their Gladiator they will tell you they have either ripped off a tail light or smashed one in. They protrude from the body in a manner that leaves them vulnerable to damage. If you slip on a large rock and your rig catches it seems to always end up resting on the tail light before the rear sliders catch. These lights fit nice and flush and don’t drag on everything. They are bright and look good. Installation takes about 10 minutes a light if you are mechanically inclined and may take 15 if you are not. I have banged the lights up a little but they have not cracked or been ripped off like my factory lights. I don’t hang the blind spot monitoring on my jeep but if you do don’t order these because they don’t work with the radar however if you have regular mirrors without the little light up triangle warning these will work fine.

These LED tail lights are a nice visual upgrade for a Jeep Gladiator JT. They make the rear end look more modern, and the lighting is brighter and cleaner than the stock-style appearance. The smoked look also pairs well with darker wheels, trim, or other black exterior accessories. The brake and signal lights are easy to see, and the overall housing feels solid once installed. I like that the pair gives the truck a more customized look without being too flashy. I replaced the taillights on my 2021 Jeep Gladiator with these LED smoked taillights, and I’m really impressed with how they look and perform. The smoked finish gives the Jeep a much cleaner look, and I love that they have a flush fit compared to the bulkier OEM-style lights. Installation was extremely easy and truly plug-and-play. I had both sides installed in about 30 minutes total. The only minor issue was the included zip ties. They felt like a cheaper way to secure the wires, and on the driver’s side there wasn’t a great spot to use the zip tie like there was on the other side. That said, it was a very minor inconvenience and didn’t affect the installation. The plastic housing does seem a little thinner than the factory taillights, but they don’t feel lower quality. For around $100, these are a great value. I’ve already been through some heavy rainstorms with flood warnings and never saw any moisture or water inside the lights. The LEDs are very bright, especially the reverse lights, and they add a nice modern look to the Gladiator. Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade and would definitely recommend them.

Put these on my 2023 Gladiator to get rid of the big red OEM lights. Wanted the smoked look but needed something DOT compliant so I don't get hassled here in NY. Install was stupid easy — two bolts and the plug, maybe 15 minutes per side in the driveway, no splicing. Everything just plugged right in: brake, turn signal, reverse, and the DRL bar all work, no hyperflash or dash errors. The smoked lens looks clean, not too dark. At night they're actually brighter than the factory lights, especially the reverse lights which helps a ton backing up. During the day the DRL strip makes the back end look more modern. Sealed good too, we've had a ton of rain and a car wash since I put them on, no fog inside. For the price vs OEM, these are a no-brainer if you want the blacked-out look without going with cheap Amazon junk that throws codes. Very happy with quality and fit .
