These little fresheners are easy to use and smell great and fresh. I use them in a bathroom where I don't have an outlet available to use a standard plug-in. The scent is pretty strong at first so take that into consideration if you're using it in a small space or a space without ventilation. They last for a good while and the 4 pack is a good value. Mine didn't come in a retail packaging just the four in a cardboard box.

Before discovering these, I thought all air fresheners basically fell into two categories: plug-ins that become useless the second the power goes out, and sprays that work for approximately seven seconds before the mystery bathroom smell returns like it pays rent there. These Febreze Bathroom Air Fresheners somehow found the sweet spot in between, and they have become one of the most useful “quietly effective” products I keep around the house, in the car, and especially for work-related situations. The biggest advantage is simple but incredibly important: they require absolutely no electricity. No plug, no batteries, no charging, and no maintenance. You literally place one where you need it and it just works in the background. That alone makes these unbelievably useful in situations where traditional plug-ins completely fail, and this is where I discovered their real superpower. If you have ever dealt with vacant homes or open houses, you already know there is always at least one homeowner trying to save approximately eleven cents by turning off the electricity before showings. Suddenly there are no lights, no AC, no working plug-ins, and definitely no “fresh linen breeze floating through the hallway” atmosphere. Meanwhile the house has been sealed up tighter than a submarine hatch in Texas humidity. That is exactly where these things shine. Instead of walking into a stale, closed-up house with that unmistakable “vacant property smell,” humans walk into something that smells clean, fresh, and cared for. It subtly changes the entire first impression of the home without being overpowering. And because they do not require outlets, they can place them anywhere without rearranging furniture or hunting for plugs. That flexibility matters far more than people realize. The Linen & Sky scent is also a smart choice because it smells clean without smelling aggressive. Some air fresheners hit you like a chemical attack the second you enter the room. You notice it most when you remove one and suddenly realize how much work it had quietly been doing in the background the entire time. Are they meant for giant open-concept living rooms? I love the smell of these. I always buy the renuzit cones which you can barely smell. However b4 you press the tab in back of these Fabreeze ones the fluid level is 3/4 full thru front see thru window. Once you press the tab the fluid level drops to only 1/3!! They only last 3 weeks but the pkg says they last up to 45 days. I like the noticeable smell with these went I walk in a room so I will keep buying them. I just wish they would last longer.

Love this Linen & Sky fragrance! It's fresh without being cloyingly sweet. I don't quite know how to describe the scent - - - linen & sky doesn't really tell you much other than that it's a fresh scent. It's not flowery, sweet or fruity - - - it's just fresh - - - sorta like that smell of laundry you just took out of the dryer. To me, I don't necessarily want my rooms to smell like fruit or spices so this fresh smell is perfect. Personal preference, but I like scents to be light and in the background rather than hit you in the face as soon as you walk in so to me, the strength of this is a bit strong. I remedy this by placing it in my trash cans under the liner. It stays clean even in the trash can because it's under the liner, and the scent just wafts through the area without being front and center and too strong. I have these in the trash cans in every one of our bathrooms and the can in our laundry room as well. It's just over a month and the aroma is still perfect. The trash cans are Simple Human step on cans, so it's also nice that you get a nice whiff whenever the can opens/closes. When you initially activate the dispenser by flipping the tab to puncture the product, you will notice an immediate and surprising drastic drop in the level of the liquid. This is apparently normal, as the liquid is being initially absorbed by the dispenser. Once this happens that first time, it stabilizes and the level will then drop slowly as it diffuses as needed. Note that these don't come packaged as pictures on a cardboard sleeve - - they come packed nicely in a box so there's no damage to any of them. The downside to this is that there is a small sticker on the side of the box that identifies what scent they are. The box is a bit large for storage though, so if you take them out of the box and store them in another way, the individual devices are not marked at all. If you happen to purchase more than one scent, there's is no way (other than the color of the liquid) to identify what scent they are. * * note: tried the Fresh Lemon scent and it's horrible. Nothing citrusy, fresh or lemon-y about it and it's extremely strong as well. Smells like what public restrooms use to overpower odors. Upside, I ran some string through the vent holes and am hanging this in our big trash can in the garage. It works out there in that big open space, so although I won't be ordering any more of the Lemon scent, at least I've found a use for the ones that I have.

While the linen scent is overall very pleasant and fresh (like strong fabric softener with lavender undertones), the heartiness of the scent gave me an immediate headache and sneezing fits. I do have smell sensitivities and usually don't use perfume or scented laundry detergent or candles, etc because of that fact. However, I do like to use febreeze pods sometimes when I want my house to smell fresh for company, or to ward off the tabletop compost bin. I will stick to the peach scent and the candy apple scent, those don't make my head hurt like this scent does. Also, remember to keep these pods away from pets and children, the device itself is penetrable and the insides are toxic, and also, don't use near cat litter boxes because it can negatively affect your cat (essential oils and strong smells can cause behavioral issues and serious upper respiratory issues). I recommend using this in the bathroom so you can close the door if you want to reduce the fragrance around the house and also, so you can prevent access by pets and children. Update: After activating this pod, the smell grew so intense within a day that I had to double baggie the pod just to soften the scent some. Using two bags and putting it into a cabinet only lessened the scent and did not stop it from smelling completely. How is that possible?? So, yes, this is a very very very strong emitting scent pod, please use responsibly. I do not recommend for people with pets or with smell sensitivities.
