This straw clutch with a cross-body strap is cute, big enough to hold my phone, sunglasses, credit cards, and lipstick...so PERFECT for summer travel! I recently spend some time on vacation in Mexico. The beige color "went" with everything I packed from jeans, to shorts, to sun-dresses, and it held everything I needed and was light to carry. It's just not going to be sturdy and long lasting. The straw is flimsy and it will likely only last for a few trips in the sand and sun...but worth it while it lasts! ... show more

I was incredibly pleased with The Jeehan Straw shoulder bag; it is perfect for the coming summer. I loved the color of the purse, although described as dark brown I would say it is more of a soft cocoa color. Its material construction is exceptionally well made, and the individual straw pieces were tightly woven, with no frayed edges or broken strands. The pattern created by the woven straw is beautiful yet simple. I found the purse to be roomy as well and I was able to get my wallet, keys, and cell to fit nicely inside, still leaving room to carry other small essentials. Even with all these items the purse still laid flat against my body and did not feel big or bulky. The size of the purse is right for use as a clutch also, small enough to carry comfortably but roomy enough that I could bring my necessities without it feeling heavy. The two yarn poms it was accessorized with added a bit of fun, but I preferred the purse without, and they were easy to remove. Whether casual in jeans and a t-shirt or a dress for the night out, the Jeehan Straw is a versatile accessory that would make a fantastic addition to anyone's wardrobe. This purse is BEAUTIFUL and lovely, it gives me such joy wearing it and have received complements while wearing it. It seems durable yet I cannot confirm that since I have had it for only two weeks but it does feel like a high quality straw shoulder bag. The lining inside is very neat and clean and the straps (both the shoulder and the wrists straps) have good quality I believe. I just hope the golden metal part can survive this humidity that we have where we live ... show more

This bag is larger than I thought it would be. Personally, for me it is a little large for a clutch but that's just me. Either way, I like the option to carry it in a variety of ways. This holds plenty! I took this on my last date night and it held everything that I needed it to. It's summery and versatile. I could do without the little pom-poms but again that's just me.
