worked until it didnt. about 4 months into this christmas gift the bottom “panel” thingy kept falling off. they have never been in the dishwasher and have always been hand washed the entire time we have had them. but one by one the bottoms have started to fall off. i dont know the purpose of these things or if it is fine to use them without it but it just makes no sense and they look unfinished. was a great gift until that happened. ... show more

I bought this as gift for someone. I never got any feedback so I figured it was good. I bought this tumbler because my friend loves black and white accessories. I was visiting and saw the tumbler and almost choked, the outside of the cup was all peeling and chipping off. I asked if it had been hand washed or had been put in the dishwasher. I was assured it had only been hand washed as the directions instructed. We both keep our cups in the refrigerator (I bought mine from a different source in a different color). My cup is perfect. I have to see if I can purchase another cup to replace this one but will have to go back to see who I bought mine from and see if I can get in black from that seller on Amazon. This may be a case of a bad batch but so disappointed especially since it was a gift. I will see if I can get a picture and add an update if I do. ... show more

I love them! I bought 4 of these cups in different colours, looking carefully at the photos to choose the powder coated style. These are very durable. We took them to Mexico and they did not scratch on sides or bottom, despite being placed on rough surfaces. I had previously bought the stainless steel styles and the colour scratched off but did not have this issue with these powder coated ones.
