    • It's Works Great!
This is what you want if your into pollen collection as part of your growing hobby. so much control and so efficient. Get you product super dry then run and collect. Then run through a larger mesh screen to break up, i used a gold mining classifier screen to get to places then run again and so on, i have run as many as 5 times. I had 150 grams of trim product and got 35 plus grams of pollen. I use a water softener recharge funnel to fill while i set the barrel on a block of wood with hole in it for bearing to go in to, easy. The only downside is the screen change is it a bit of a drag for the impatient. Don't waste time, just dissemble the bearing side to do it and not that bad. Tumblers are the future of pollen collection for sure. i like this one because of size and the way way the bottom tray separates awesome. Buy a little cylinder press and turn out puck after puck in short order. Unreal how easy it all is with this modern technology. Update!!!! 2/19/2023 The mesh sifter bags developed holes possible from manufacture defects, like a broken thread and it slowly opens up making it useless. If you look for replacement bags you won't find, per manufacture these are not available. When the bags are gone throw the hole thing away, so this is not good. Here is there response to my request to buy new bags. "We are sorry that we currently have no accessories available for purchase." They also claimed you should not have a need for new bags, the first bag failed after 6 uses. I glued a patch over hole, i don't know how long will last. If i knew about this i would not have bought this and went a different route. If they had parts for this it would be a great personal tumbler. Bummer! ... show more

Very solid construction that should last a very long time. I didn’t want to invest in the plastic tote conversion models. The screens are easy to change by anyone with basic intelligence. The screens are made of nylon and it comes with 6 total in 3 sizes. Similar size models also have nylon but only give you one screen but will sell you other sizes for $20+. The much more expensive models that come with metal mesh only come with one but they will sell you another size for $200. I have used it many times with no issues. The drum can stick when taking it out. To avoid it sticking you could just tumble your socks instead of very sticky kief. If you want very finely sifted kief and are spending $400+ on a tumble I assume you will get fine sifting screens obviously. No tumbler I’ve seen has below 100 mesh screens. All that combined with the fact that its made from metal instead storage totes, lifts off to a tray for easy removal of kief and cost less than all the others. It was a great choice. ... show more

It was smaller than what I expected out of the box, but I was happy with the overall solid quality of the housing, motor, glass lid, and tray. I ran the tumbler 4x on high for 10 minutes with the container 1/2 full of dry clippings each time. It worked flawlessly, and I’m very impressed by the yield.     • 2.5 Stars.. amazing casing design, ease, and durability.. pretty much stops there.
First, it was much smaller than I expected; but, I was blown away by the quality and design of the housing, motor, etc. The housing fitting on to the tray was an amazing idea and made collecting very easy. Motor runs well and the variable switch is nice, though I haven't figured out if it's any better to run at lower speeds or not. The plastic beads it comes with and the other accessories are great also... that's kind of where it ends though. The drum is a big issue that they need to address. It is NOT easy to change the screens and they are obviously made of cheap nylon mesh. I could see pieces of screen and pistils in with the "pollen" when using the 160 micron bag and will have to use additional screens to separate the junk from the "pollen." The screw that holds the ball-bearings unscrews as the motor turns the tumbler. A VERY EASY fix to this would have been to screw it in the opposite direction of the direction of the motor... The drum is also hard to get out of the housing at times.. not sure if it's "sticking" or what. I did notice a good amount of green, leaf matter collects on the bottom of the acrylic top and the sides.. probably because it's much lighter and sticks to the sides. I wouldn't bother scraping that unless you're going to use a much smaller micron screen at some point to filter it out. This tumbler could be one of the best given the housing and ease, but needs some work. ... show more
