This helmet saved my head from a nasty fall and it still works perfectly fine. Sizing is good for adults (unlike other brands that claimed "large" but they're still too small) It's truly certified for cyclists, skateboarders etc. highly recommend.

I am usually skeptical about sizes whe it comes to kids protective gears. This one was no exeption, there was a serious lack of sizing chart. My kid is 8 year old, about 4 feet 6 inches high and weighs 45 pounds. Skinny by most accounts. The medium helmet fits his head perfectly. Would give 5 stars if oroduct description was better informed about sizing. Overall great value helmet! ... show more

Get the largest size helmet. There is an adjustable knob to allow for better fit. It is fragile so turn it slowly and gently. It can get caught in the styrofoam padding so use your index finger and gently push the end piece down towards the chin straps as your other hand adjusts the knob. The knob should turn smoothly once unblocked. You'll figure out what I mean. I believe that the majority of people complaining about the helmet being too small is because they haven't figured out how to unblock the knob. If you remove the velco chin strap, you will see that the straps have additional length. Adjust to your size and put the velcro back on. Not the sturdiest strap but it works fine. I added some red reflector stickers all over the helmet for additional visibility. I paid about $15 which I think is a good deal. Cheers! ... show more

The helmet is very light weight, has a low profile, It appears to be sturdy and well made. Its design allows for good airflow which makes it nice and cool to wear. I have a 22.5 inch head so I purchased the large and it fits perfectly. To cinch it down a little front to back I will only turn the adjustment knob maybe 3 or 4 clicks max. If you have a head circumference greater than even 23" or above I would get an XL Helmet in this brand. I research everything for days before I make a purchase of these types of products. This helmet is made to take multiple hits and still provide adequate protection. I'm using it as a bump helmet so I am not expecting to take any hard hits but I want that protection just in case and I want my helmet to remain in place during multiple hits and take that punishment. There are some helmets you can spend a lot more or a little less money and get something sort of comparable. Of all the research I've done even helmets costing $50 more did not exceed this products protective capabilities. Those spending less, well you get what you pay for. Regardless having a helmet not fitting properly can be just as bad as not wearing one. That is why I will only buy helmets that fit properly with adjustability on the fly. Buy It! ... show more

The impact resistance is a must for any extreme sport athlete! I can without a doubt say that this helmet saved my life. Traveling 36 miles an hour on my electric skateboard when I hit a rock. I slid on the helmet for 10+ feet, breaking my collar bone clean in half. If I had not been wearing my helmet, I have no doubt I would be dead as an impact on the pavement at 36 miles an hour would have shattered bones and tearing... I'll stop there. We have bought 2 orange helmets, both of them in size S. Well, to our surprise, even though both helmets have label S on the inside, one is way bigger then the other, as you can see on the picture !! The boxes also show size Small, so it is not a shipping issue, but some kind of size control quality issue. Otherwise, those are very good helmets, materials are great, fit for the smaller one is great for both kids, 3 and 4 years old. The other "small" helmet, the bigger one out of two "small" sizes, is a little too large. So helmets are 5 stars, sizing issue is 1 star, altogether 3 stars. ... show more

I ordered an Adult Medium. This thing is so ridiculously tiny, that it does not even come close to fitting on my 8 year old son's head. It's so tiny, that I don't believe even the adult large would fit on the 8 year old's head. This Adult Medium, is considerably smaller than the youth size helmets he's outgrown and this was intended to replace. AND THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANY RETURNS. It arrived 2 days ago, it is NOT as advertised (it is not an adult medium), and they do not take returns. If you know a skateboarding infant--I've got a helmet they can have. ... show more
