You'll find an edge-driven design in their aluminum dome tweeters for a smoother, more open response and minimal distortion at high volume levels. The UniPivot angled tweeter design means you can rotate each tweeter up to 270 to aim them toward your ears, so you'll enjoy excellent stereo imaging even if the speakers are mounted way down low in your doors.
  • Plus One+ woofer technology: JBL's glass fiber woofer will hold its shape when the power's cranked up, so you still get punchy and defined bass. Glass fiber weighs less than traditional materials, so you don't need a ton of power to drive this woofer either. JBL's Plus One+ woofer technology extends the cone right up to the edge of the basket, giving you lots of surface area and a bigger cone means more bass to complement the superior high-frequency response.
  • Power handling perfect for any system: These 3-ohm speakers boast ultra-high sensitivity so that you can power them with a factory radio or aftermarket stereo, but you'll get your best results feeding them plenty of power from an outboard amp. Either way, these speakers' low impedance safely takes advantage of every watt of power available for exceptional performance.

I was hesitant on what to get. U really need a apm to get the best sound out of any speaker. I yet to get one. I got the stadiums 1st. Didnt like the sound of them with stock radio compared to the 62f. These you can max ur volume and no distortion at all bc they are 3ohm. With a amp these will sound amazing. WOW! These are a fantastic replacement for my stock 2008 Silverado front door component speakers. I left the upper pillar tweeters in place and active, just added these coaxial speakers. I am very impressed. I just wish they would fit in the back doors too but are too deep to fit.

In the past I've always used alpine type r full range 6.5s but I was going with jbl amp and sub and figured I will give these a try. Every product jbl makes is great and these stadium 6.5s are no exception. Sound quality is top notch. Vary clear and precise, even at high volume. The carnage in the photo was mostly all me; I broke it more trying to fix it. The original issue is that the middle column popped out of place and started distorting the sound. I tried to reflux it but it glued to the side, one thing led to another and I took the whole thing apart. Moral of the story, don’t get these. It is put together poorly. ... show more
