Overall this scooter is definitely worth the price class it is in. I received it and 10min later I was testing it out. On approx a 2 mile trip it handled great with a smooth quiet ride. It averaged about 12mph on level ground but did hold its speed well on inclines. I had 4/5 power showing (5) out of the box. The folding handle bar has locking mechanism at the fold that locks into place with a click (the release button locking into place) I am 165lb age 64 I can live with the 12mpg like I said for the price range. This is an amazing electric scooter. It has 3 modes for the speed and one of my favorite things on it. You can do it slower for the younger kids and faster if you use it. I would do slow mode if it’s in a crowd so you know you won’t accidentally press on it to go fast. It’s very durable and sturdy. It has a flashlight attached. It’s really fun to ride.the battery lasts me for a long time and charge it every few rides which is good. I would recommend it. ... show more

I recently bought 2 scooters for my 2 children and they both have the same issue, the latch that locks the steering handle into place unlatched while my kids were riding tge scooter, one happened on the side walk and the other while my daughter was crossing the street.
