So I really love this soap dispenser. I would have given it 5 stars except that I had to put it through the dishwasher like 5 times before it was usable. When it first arrived, I put Soft Soap brand soap in it. Anyone who uses that knows it’s a nice, thick soap. However, when I put it in this soap dispenser, it actually changed the chemistry of the soap, and the soap became very watery. I cleaned it out and refilled it, but the same thing happened. I vigorously cleaned it again and noticed a weird substance on the walls of the inside of the dispenser but also noticed the substance was coming off slowly each time I cleaned it. I put it through the dishwasher 5 times until it looked like the substance was gone, and now it no longer changes the chemistry of the soap. Very weird. That said, I am purchasing a second one for my kitchen because I love it now that the issue is resolved.

This dispenser is stunning and it is easy to pump. The color is like a turquoise lake. It intensifies even more if filled with Blue Dawn. I have one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom. It comes with a hemp cord and diamond shaped wood square so you can write what's inside on it. I am going to glue a seashell on my bathroom one as it is beach themed.
