Overall, this is a better rake than I was expecting. Has a nice long handle with plenty of reach. Which I like. Comfortable to use and has a good solid feel to it. I thought that it likely would be lighter-built with more play at the joints with so many sections vs a typical single-piece handle. But it's fairly heavy gauge metal, the sections screw together and fit very well, and there's virtually none of that. If you do want it shorter you can simply leave out one of the sections with no effect on function otherwise. Not heavy but not too light. Has enough weight to it to keep it against the ground better which helps to do some of the work. The tines are a round wire-formed design with flattened tips vs flat for the full length as in the case of most rakes. Has a little more of a firm feel in use when raking. Captures stuff well. Pretty easy to clear leaves, etc., that get stuck in it. Length and width of the tines/head probably are a little shorter/smaller than most standard leaf rakes. If you were to cut about 1/4 off of the end of the tines of a typical rake, that's about the size. I really wasn't valuing the adjustability of the rake width much when I got this. I just needed a decent rake. After using it, I've found that to be more useful than I thought it would be. It actually is good for getting around things and into places that I couldn't with a normal wider rake. Probably won't use it a lot, but helpful when needed. The downside of the adjustability is that the mechanism for that looks to be kind of the weaker link in the overall build. The little yellow plastic brace, lever and cam that locks it down don't feel all that solid. It's OK and it works fine, just seems kind of lighter duty vs the rest. We'll see how it holds up over time. Price is fine for what it is. I like it.

This garden rake works great and is exactly as described. The expandable head and collapsible handle make it very convenient for cleaning up leaves, tight spaces, and general yard waste. The metal rake part is sturdy, but the mechanism to control the size is plastic and seems like it is just alright. Hopefully it holds up fine over time with regular yard work. It is still a very practical and functional tool for outdoor cleanup.

If you're short on storage space but still want a rake that gets the job done, this adjustable rake delivers. ✔ Adjustable length – Comes with 3 pole sections so you can customize the height. I'm short, and using 2 sections made it a perfect fit. ✔ Comfortable, secure grip – Easy to hold and doesn't slip, even during longer cleanup sessions. ✔ Expandable head is a game changer – Adjusts from 9.6" to 20" wide with a quick slide: • Narrow = more strength for sticks, pinecones, and heavier debris. • Wide = faster leaf and grass cleanup over larger areas. ✔ One-pass cleanup – My old rake needed multiple sweeps to gather debris. This one grabs and clears efficiently on the first pass. ✔ Lightweight and easy to maneuver – Easy to control without feeling flimsy. A Few Minor Wishes ➖ No hanging hole in the handle. I can hang it from the rake head, but a handle hole would make storage easier. ➖ A telescoping handle would be even better. Adjusting the length means adding or removing pole sections, so you'll need to keep track of the extras. Final Verdict This rake packs a lot of versatility into a compact design. I had been looking for a new rake for a while, so I was excited when I saw this. I had never used a metal rake before, so I wasn’t sure how well it would perform, but it far exceeded my expectations. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the adjustable, expandable head is really convenient for switching between wider yard areas and tighter spaces. It’s easy to maneuver and makes quick work of leaves and general yard debris. Not only has it performed well in the yard, but it’s also worked great for raking up old straw in our chicken coop area, which was a nice surprise. It handles that kind of mess really well without feeling flimsy or hard to control. Overall, this has been a great all-around rake for my needs and has definitely made yard cleanup easier and more efficient than I expected.

This rake is a nice addition to my yard tool collection. The adjustable head allows you to widen it for larger areas or narrow it down to get into tighter spaces. The photo referenced is as wide as it gets, and the adjustment lever is easy to use and stays in place. I like that it's easy to store since it can be collapsed. The metal tines are sharp and sturdy, and it does a good job gathering leaves. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and works well for raking leaves.

Retractable garden rake, perfect for saving space in the garden shed!! It comes unassembled but putting it together is super easy- it comes with the poles unattached but pushing them to interlock with each other takes seconds! Its one of those metal holes that meets with the metal dowel that retracts. Super easy! The rake itself fully extends and fully retracks with a simply pull/push of the yellow lever. Its long so that it is easy to maneuver and doesnt put too much strain on your back. Great purchase, works great and is great for smaller storage places. Great value for what you get, highly recommend!
