not as thick as i expected, but overall has been comfortable enough bought to replace my standard US bed to make more space in my room because it was starting to feel cramped,which the floor mattress does great at, i just fold it up in the morning and make a pad with a back to sit on against the wall and lay out at night for sleep. Of note is not waking with any aches or pains so far and have used it for 3 night so far so overall pretty happy just wish it was thicker through out the mattress and made in japan not china

I use this bed in my meditation chamber under the stairs. It's true, I built my own little hidey-hole sanctuary and this mattress fits perfectly and gives me firmness without lacking comfort, so I don;t fall asleep while meditating like I do on my tempurpedic. If you've ever had a futon, this is like that only a bit thinner. It folds over super easily and is sort of awkward to carry around, so if you need to move it more than just one fold over it might be too much. It's actually better than I expected and I dont have one negative thing to say about it.

This mattress is perferc for sleepovers. As my son's friends come over, somehow they do not want to sleep in their rooms. Instead, they have been asking me to set up something in the living room, so that 4~5 of them all stay together through the night. I bought a couple of different mattresses before, and so far this is the best. Soft fabric, thick enough and not that heavy. One thing I am still questioning is folding and storing. It comes with a bag, but folding it to a right size is a hassle.
