I had low expectations for this duvet & sham set because the last time I bought microfiber bedding I found it a poor substitute for cotton. It was unbreathing; hot in summer and cold in winter. This duvet cover is so soft. I was worried about getting the white cover because the duvet I have is a lot darker on the sides that hang off the bed. I’m certain lights I can see a slightly darker tint inside the cover on the sides, but I can’t see the colors from the duvet inside. And I’m ok with that. Some of the reviews made me second guess myself but I ordered anyway. I absolutely LOVE this duvet. It’s exactly as pictured, it is a 3 piece and it’s soooo soft. I did throw it in the wash as soon as I got it because it did have a chemically smell. the smell wasn’t so unbearably overpowering that I could’ve just put it on as is but I wanted it to smell like my softener so whatever, to each their own. It is a thin material but not thin enough that it will tear easily. Not sure how it will do with pets since I don’t have any. LOVE!!! The design is so pretty & it’s just like the picture! And it’s super soft too, even after washing! I would say the only downside is that it is see-through but that’s to be expected since it’s white. But this is so cute & definitely worth the price!
