This backpack holds a lot with lots of compartments. it is sturdy and I think it might last the entire school year. Usually the back pack does not hold her lunch but this one is roomy enough that it holds her lunch bag too. The only thing I wish it had was two side pockets. It only has one.

I am in love with this bag. The cornflower blue is such a beautiful color. The large pocket with all the extra pockets inside are extremely useful. There is also a pocket for a laptop on the inside of the big pocket. There’s a little pocket on one of the side pockets which has a zipper and is really cool. My 32 ounce water bottle fit perfectly in the side pocket. This bag is really comfortable to wear!! I highly recommend this bag ... show more

I've always appreciated the quality of Jansport, and even now, as I write this low score review, I'm confident that it's likely still a good investment, and my experience is the exception, but it shouldn't be this way, and I'm disappointed. The zipper on this busted right away. I immediately reached out to return here, but was told I had to set up the return via Jansport website, where they then directed me to return via the post office and at my own cost. It's also notable that this was in the middle of the pandemic, because post office access wasn't simple. Normally I return things post free, via a (free) amazon hub. So consider only ordering here if you have the capacity to go through a tedious exchange / return process. ... show more

I really like this bag! Fits all my stuff and has a secondary compartment I wasn’t aware of when I bought it (a total of 3 pockets and one sub-pocket for smaller things)! I’m not sure if it’s because it’s still new... but it does feel very plasticky. I was expecting more of a canvas material by that’s okay it still looks great! The color is great because it’s still dark but not black like my 3 previous backpacks! I haven’t tried the utility straps for a skateboard yet. Hopefully that works out! ... show more
