Idk what's going on with Aveda's pressed mineral powder but it seems as if their discontinuing that line so I've been trying to find a shade close to the Almond shade I wear. I finally found it! This isn't an exact match but it's very very close. This one is more of a bright almond vs aveda"s is more of a tan almond but it's still a close call. The feeling is light weight and it's more of a medium coverage to me. Has a soft, luxurious feeling to it as well.

I have no complaints about the product which I had bought before from the manufacturer. I received it packaged in a thin paper bag. Of course the foundation cracked. I made the foolish mistake of decided to avoid the hassle of a return -- especially when none of the questions asked would clarify why I was reyruning it. Of, course, the crack became of crumble and it has made it difficult to use the product. One doesn't need a PhD to know that it should have been sent with padding that would have avoided damage.

Love this product. I had been using Aveda's dual base in Aster & Linen to match my freckled skin color for over 20 yrs. Now that they stopped making it, I found my local Aveda salon sells Jane Iredale. We tested some colors & Golden Glow was the match for me! I really love it. It's light weight. Doesn't look caked on.
