  • Awesome plane. Fun and easy to fly.
Color: 813a
This is a really fun plane. It is similar to the old Aero Ace planes, but I think it is much better. I was surprised by how well it handles wind and turbulence. Flight times are long, and its quite maneuverable. The foam construction is very durable. It reminds me of stiff EVA foam. The horizontal stabilizer can be easily adjusted up and down by sliding its trailing edge through a series of detents to alter the planes speed and turning ability. With it set all the way up, I can fly slow circles in a very small space. With it all the way down, I can fly fast in windy conditions. One thing I dont like about it is the supplied charger charges through a micro USB port on the bottom of the plane. The charging circuitry is in the charger, not the plane. If you were to plug a standard USB cable into the charge port on the plane, the battery could be overcharged, which is a fire risk. Another thing I dont like about it is the battery polarity is reversed from all other batteries and chargers that use the same plug. This is also a fire risk and a risk to electronics if you have other planes and batteries of the standard polarity. This is easily fixed by carefully removing and swapping the pins from the plugs on both the batteries and the plane. Just be careful to not touch the battery pins together. Now I can use my hobby grade charger for the batteries, and I dont have to worry about the possibility of using the wrong polarity battery in a plane and frying the electronics. This is an excellent little plane. I just wish manufacturers would stop deviating from normal battery polarity and charging practices. ... show more

  • Fun little plane to chase your dog around the yard with.
Color: 815a
Flys great. Its a 2 channel differential thrust plane, so it takes a little bit to figure out how to make it fly level. It's all about throttle control. It's tough so there's no worries about breaking it when you crash. I've probably crashed mine 50 plus times and it's fine. If you were a fan of the Air Hogs Aero Ace this is about as close as you can find. My only complaint is the USB charging cord for it. It has the built-in battery charger but it looks like a regular USB cable so it's easily to get it mixed up with a standard cable. If you plug in the wrong cable the battery will not charge correctly and could possibly catch fire. ... show more

  • Very easy to fly and durable.
Color: 815a
After just a few tries, I could keep this thing up until the battery died. Yeah, it’s toy grade, but who cares? Highly recommend for anyone with an interest in RC planes, but don’t want to break the bank since you’re going to crash it anyway. I love that it flies slow, since you won’t really break anything when you do crash it. It feels like it’s made out of craft foam, so it’s extremely durable. ... show more

  • I own hobby grade RC planes, but this little guy is a lot of fun.
Color: 815b
I'm a pretty serious R/C plane hobbyist, but couldn't resist this little guy for some indoor fun. It actually works great outside as well, just as long as it's not too windy. The quality is good, essentially durable foam and plastic. It can take a hit, especially with the motors facing backwards away from likely impacts. Even comes with a pair of extra props and a 2nd battery. The controls are easy to use and learn, even comes with two modes for indoor or outdoor power use. Make sure to read the instructions. The gyro works well in keeping control for first timers. Not too fast or too slow, good value for what you get. Even comes with landing gear to launch and land, just watch out when launching from high traction carpet which can make it hard to take-off. Good for hand launching as well. Overall, very pleased with this toy, definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Fun little planes
Color: 815b
My 10 and 11-year-old sons had a blast with these mini RC planes and were able to get them flying with very little help. The controls are simple and beginner-friendly, and they had a solid two hours of fun before wear and tear kicked in. The built-in gyro and LED lights are a great touch and definitely helped with orientation and flying in lower light. That said, the construction is basically lightweight styrofoam, so they’re not built to survive many crashes. One plane got stuck in a tree early on and never worked quite right again. The other was missing the tail fin right out of the box, so I improvised using part of the packaging. These planes are fun for a quick thrill and a good intro to RC flying, but they definitely aren’t built to last. Great while it worked—but I wouldn’t count on long-term use. ... show more

  • No control surfaces to break
Color: 815a
This model is designed in a way that it will easily absorb most of the impacts it will take to learn to fly it well. It uses a differential thrust steering system and a thrust controlled altitude, so no control surfaces are needed. The included remote does feel a bit stiff to start but loosens up with use. I'd suggest using this plane in a large field for the first few flights and on a calm day as well since it's so light and easy to get blown around or into a tree. Once you get the hang of it you can fly it around in a small backyard. They include three batteries so your able to get about 30 minutes of flight time which really makes this a fun plane to just bring out and fly whenever you get the urge. ... show more
