I just received this. I'm not sure about the durabilty. It's definitely not as heavy as the 3 ring 2.5inch solod binder. I purchased this for my Middke Schooler. I know she'll be happy to decorate the clear cover with her favorite character abd tv show stickers to personalize it more. In the pictures I try to show how much it can hold. I added 6 folders, 6 dividers with paper and a pencil case. It still closes up. The negative reviews did make me think if I should order it or not. I wanted to test it myself. The soft cloth binders are not a good choice for us as it can't be put away in a backpack. I'm happy with this purchase as of now. If it tears or the rings don't function properly after sime time. I will write another review.

I bought the 1 inch soft cover binder in blue. It is even better than I hoped! It is sturdy and slides into the backpack easily. The color is bright and the material is textured making it look really nice. It is flexible and isn't too heavy which is helpful in an already stuffed backpack. Would definitely buy this again.

Very sturdy I usually use this as a spiral notebook kind of deal. It’s just so much more convenient this way because you can change the first page to any color and you see it through the cover like sheer. Not a big fan of the textured feel though. But really good quality. The rings are strong so not finger friendly.
