A solid and beefy 3-ring binder. The zipper has held up to use thus far. I have been able to put over 100 sheets of paper in this binder, in addition to sheet protectors on some of them. There is plenty of room for a few single subject notebooks if you need to store them. The strap is very useful, but can be removed if needed. It is as pink as described, and there has been no color transfer yet. This is a must for all middle schoolers. When my son started, we tried the usual 3 ring binder but having to take it out and put it back in his small string backpack got to be too much. This saved us and has been so sturdy! The handle holds all the weight of his papers and items FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR! While other brands break, this brand held up for us. The headline says it all. It's a great binder, and every kid should own one. This binder has helped my two middle school boys tremendously. It taught them to be organized (and one kid was extremely disorganized). They can keep subjects separate. The binder holds multiple notebooks, folders, dividers, supplies, even some textbooks (the thinner ones, not the huge textbooks we lugged around as kids). My kids literally carry all subjects in this one binder. They no longer have to stop at their lockers in between classes and rush to class. Yes, it does get heavy if you're loading all subjects into this binder, but it is worth it and my kids have never complained. They absolutely love it, and other friends have asked where we get this so they can also get for their kids! It's really great, because it zips shut so nothing falls out, even if you store pencils or markers in it. The binding is very sturdy, and has lasted all year. I do switch it out at the beginning of the new school year and buy a new one. Not because the old one broke, but just because some edges can get frayed, and my kids enjoy starting each year with a fresh clean binder. Please buy this for your kids if they're in middle school. I bought this to help carry my stuff to school. It works really nicely, and was able to fit everything I needed, my issue is that when the rings would close, it ripped the mesh pencil case 😑. They did close smoothly though. The color is very bright, so do not expect it to be subtle. The zipper also broke on the second week of me using it. This is our kiddos' favorite binder. We had originally bought one for our oldest when the school put it on the list. We tried the Case-It, and were not disappointed. This is actually a replacement for one we bought three years ago. It had not worn out -- it was just mistakenly taken by another student after school (they turned it back in, but we'd already purchased this). With that in mind, we can give you a review of this binder over a 3-year period. The outside cover, zippers, inside velcro strap, and inside pockets have all lasted well with no issues for three years. There is plenty of room for a pencil pouch (stuffed full of pencils, scissors, pens and markers, etc.) and another set of pocket dividers we'd bought to hold and sort more homework they bring home. When our other children started middle school, we bought them each one of these in turn, and they all love them. We have one more to go, and if the Case-Its continue to be made like these were, we will buy him one too. Thanks to the company for making something durable and worth the money! ... show more
