    • Held up to a middle school boy's daily beating
Size: Pack of 1 Color: Black
My middle-school boy beat the crap out of this thing for 8 months- stretched the front slot further than it definitely should have been stretched to the point that it finally broke under intense pressure but I still replaced it with the exact same binder. Held up to a serious beating! Will probably buy it again for next year! ... show more

I've had various Five-Star binders throughout my life. I could have sworn that they were developed by Mead but I'm not sure if they are. The last time I used these types of binders was when I went to college, I've been out of college for nearly a decade, however, I constantly find use for items that I may be done using, I use binders to hold my card collections. If you are looking for a well-made binder to protect your cards, then you will like this product. The product has a very strong front and back cover, it feels like it can take a beating for days on end. The 2-inch rings feel nice and solid; I haven't had any issues with the rings not aligning at all. This type of binder has built in folders for easy organizing, for those who are needing to keep their paperwork nicely organized. When it comes to functionality, this binder has a total of two pockets that can be zipped. The size of this binder is perfect for those who are collecting cards or going to school. If you need to close your binder, the zipper does an awesome job, I haven't had any issues with them at all so far. One addition to these binders that I never had when I was in school was that these binders now come with a carrying handle, having a carrying handle really helps with the functionality. If I had this type of binder when I went to school in the 1980's and 1990's I would have really appreciated the handle to hold my binder. Overall, I give this binder 5 stars because I've had literally no issues with the "Five-Star" brand binders every time I bought them. ... show more

    • Perfect binder.
Size: Pack of 1 Color: Black
I have bought these binders every year for both of my boys. They always hold up for the whole year and hold everything they need. They are lightweight and have many styles to choose from. Highly recommend!

    • Lasted 4 years with teen abuse.
Size: Pack of 1 Color: Black
2nd binder I have purchased. The first one last around 4 years. I was really impressed, especially for a teen boy. Got it as a 7th grader and this year the zipper finally gave out. Decided to go with another to last him the rest of high school.

    • We have ordered this two years in a row
Size: Pack of 1 Color: Black
This is the second year in a row. I have ordered the same binder for My Son. He uses the front pocket for his Chromebook on the inside. It does have like a file portion and then there is a three ring binder where he can keep all of his notebooks. This binder does everything for him. It works so well we’ve literally bought it two times in a row! I don’t know why but the binder market is really lacking. This is one of the best ones I have ever found. ... show more

    • Durable, Spacious, and Perfect for Staying Organized All Year
Size: Pack of 1 Color: Black
My niece, who’s in 7th grade, has been using this Five Star Zipper Binder for all her classes, and she also used it throughout 6th grade. It lasted her the entire school year both years without any issues. The quality is really good, the materials feel sturdy and durable enough to handle daily use. With the 2-inch capacity and 5-tab expanding file, it’s nice to have everything in one place: papers, notes, and handouts stay organized and secure inside. The zipper closure keeps everything safe and prevents pages from slipping out. The round rings open and close smoothly, making it easy for her to add or remove papers as needed. The black and gray design is simple and professional, so it works well for school or even for work. Overall, this binder is a reliable choice for students who want to stay organized throughout the year without worrying about wear and tear. ... show more
