Size ran a bit large,laces seem skeychy but they are super cute. order a size down, don't order if feet are narrow. Use thick socks when wearing if they run a bit wide. If they would have not been too big I likely would have kept them and replaced the laces for a more secure feeling.

I've used my skates about 3 times now and 1 thing's for sure: all eyes will be on these GOLD SKATES! I've seen plenty people with silver, but I've never seen anyone else with GOLD. So if you want to stand out, then buy these! The skates have a metallic appearance and also comes with gold laces. The only downside (which I didn't take a star off for) is the laces are flimsy and I feel if I pull them too tight, they will tear apart. So when I tie the laces, I am very gently not to pull to much. Otherwise, the skates are sturdy and strong. Definitely a great purchase and saves me money because these are reasonably priced and I no longer have to rent skates! ... show more

Not sure if my pair was defective or not, but the wheels feel like rubber. They grip the ground when you try to turn. I tried them outside and at the rink. Beautiful skates, but the worn out rental skates worked better.
