These are beautiful skates. My daughter is 8.5 and just picked up skating. She takes lessons and practices an additional 1-2 times per week. We had been renting skates that she complained were very uncomfortable so we wanted to go with a comfort skate to start with. These skates are well made and she said they are very comfortable and cozy. She gets many compliments on them and her skating is improving with every wear. Awesome skates! I’m glad I read what one of the reviewers mentioned about the misleading sizes listed. It’s a little confusing to list a Women’s size 11 AND Adult size 11. My instinct would have been to order the Women’s 11, but another reviewer did that and received children’s skates. She had to send them back and order the Adult 11. I’m so glad I read that review because the Adult 11 fit perfect! They have great ankle support and have a nice fleece lining. I received multiple compliments on the fact that they are black....the design is hip, but not loud. Great buy! ... show more

I bought these ice skates for my daughter. She is 9 and used the rental skates for the first class. She wanted to quit the first day. She kept falling and her ankles were hurting so much. She only agreed to continue with classes if I bought her comfortable skates. The skates arrived on time and did not need sharpened- she went straight to the ice.
